"Magical Experience"

Our stay at the Disneyland Hotel was perfect! We took our 4 year old to Disneyland for her 1st time and I strongly recommend staying in the Disneyland Resort properties to take advantage of being so close. We went back and forth to the hotel throughout the day. We stayed in standard room and found it very charming. Yes, the hotel is a little dated but I thought some negative reviews I had read prior to the trip were greatly exaggerated. The staff was friendly and helpful every step of the way. The pool is amazing! A pirate ship, waterslides and complimentary life vests for the little ones! I will always stay in this hotel when coming to Disneyland!

Wonderful Stay

I was pleasantly surprised by the DLH. I had heard about condition issues as it is the original hotel at the resort, but the room I was assigned to was wonderful. I was upgraded to a concierge level room, so maybe that had something to do with it, but what I saw of the hotel was great. The service was friendly and attentive, the common areas were well maintained and the hotel had a lovely Disney vibe. I'd have no hesitation staying there again.

Wonderful Hotel Stay

The location of this hotel made it worth it! Traveling with a little one, it was so convenient going to and from the park. The hotel staff was incredible! Everyone there was so nice and made us feel right at home. The beds were so comfortable! It was a wonderful stay, I'm so glad that we stayed here, and would definitely stay here again!

Disney Hotel

We chose the disneyland hotel because it was supposed to be one of the closest and most convenient while visiting disneyland. The location was ok, it was about a 5 min walk to disneyland and very close to downtown disney but i was not impressed with the service and the size of the room. We were there for 5 nights and have a 4 year old and 8 month old and were very crowded in the tiny room. The staff was also not friendly at all. I would not pay full price to stay at this location ever again!!

Fun but expensive

Hotels.com had by far the best price. Still, its an expensive place to stay but you ARE in the park which is nice.

Not too Shabby

Hotel pool and grounds were fantastic! Bell hops were ready to help us with our bags with a smile. Don't valet unless you want to spend almost $20 and watch out for the uncomfortable beds. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient to Disneyland and has a great gift shop!

Great Location

This hotel is a little run down, but the location is what you are paying for. The convience of staying at the park is wel worth the money. You can just walk back to your hotel and with kids this is a big plus to be so close to where you are staying. No need to catch a tram or pack up the kids in the car to get back to the hotel. The quality of the hotel and room is equivalent to the places surrounding the park, so it is unfortunate that you are paying a premium price for a second rate hotel, but ultimately, you are paying for the location. I wish the hotel would upgrade the rooms and then it would feel like you were staying in a four star hotel. The best part is that if it wasn't for hotels.com we would of never gotten such a great deal - they had the best price around.

Wonderful hotel!

Very family friendly and fun. This is my favorite hotel of the Disney Resorts in Disneyland. Very comfortable and close to Disneyland.

Great room

The room was great. We were able to check in at 11am and leave our luggage with bell service untill we had our room. Housekeeping was a big help they would come in the morning and if you wern't ready and told them to come back later they would. We were only a 5 minute walk from disneyland and just outside from downtown disney.
