Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 121Good Hotel for the rate
Loved the location. The main pool with slide was closed for repairs but they had a smaller pool open for our use. Towels and sheets were clean but stained. Beds & bedding need to be upgraded. Our daughters' bed made noise whenever they moved or rolled over. The room was serviced by housekeeping when we had a privacy tab hanging from the door. On the good side, for a family hotel in the WDW resort, it was nice and quiet. We could barely ever hear the people beside us or above us. Housekeeping always made cute decorations out of the towels (mickey ears, swans, etc.) and left plenty of toiletries. Parking was fairly convenient to the room and there were lots of other fun things to do on-site (boat rental, bike rental, fishing, etc.) For the rate and location, we would stay here again.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 121Unbelievable value
I fully expected to find a tired room in an older facility, but was pleasantly surprised. The rooms had double beds that were comfortable, despite the fact that the staff never seemed to be able to tuck in the sheets at the bottom. The bathrooms were serviceable, nothing fancy with the toilet and shower in a separate room from the double sinks. The sinks were separated from the bedroom by a curtain allowing the area to be used as a dressing room, something I found useful. The onsite restaurant is comparable to a hospital cafeteria but there are loads of other places to eat on the Disney property, so not to worry. The rooms all have unstocked fridges so you can bring your own beverages and save money. The best way to downtown Disney is the riverboat which leaves every 10 minutes, but you must take the bus to other sites. Disney Express can be used for free to and from the airport but they require a 3 hour departure window and 24 hours notice. Taking a taxi is $53 and takes only 22 minutes, worth the extra money if you want to stay another hour or two. The grounds and pool are lovely and well maintained. Stay in the Magnolia buildings as they are the nicest on the property.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 121This a wonderful place for families. They have so much to do there. We loved it and would have liked to stay longer.
Loved the area and it had a lot to do there. I would definitely go back again with the family.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 121A great Disney experience.
We love the Port Orleans Riverside at Disney. A lovely moderate hotel at a great value. Not sure about the very few of negative reviews I read, but we were more than pleased with our stay. Comfortable, clean, and easy to get to the Disney parks by bus. We've booked another stay there. Can't say anything negative--it's all good!

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 121The best "Moderate" Disney Resort
I've stayed at just about every Disney Resort and I assure you this is the best resort for the money. The beds are small and there is a lot of walking required but it's like that at every resort. This might be the only Disney Hotel I say at going forward...

Very nice. Pool was great for kids. Room small for 3 adults and 2 kids. Will return.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 121Interesting to See Changes
I had stayed at the Hotel when it was Dixie Landing. I loved all the changes and improvements. The staff was fabulous. They put us in a room overlooking the pool, even though we were "standard" and made sure we didn't have to walk to far to the food court. Would definitely love to go back.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 121Nice Experience
Our first time staying at a Disney Hotel and it was nice. A bit busier than we expected. It was a weekend away for my husband and I and we picked this hotel based on reviews that it was quieter than other Disney hotels. Maybe it was quieter, but not as quiet as I expected. Quite a long walk from the main building to our lodge, but good value for money.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 121Reasonable price for comfortable room and good location
The hotel was very reasonably priced. It is older but well kept and had a good location with free boat rides and shuttles to take you to Downtown Disney and the parks. My one disappointment with this hotel (and Disney overall) was the limited menu and the quality/price of the food.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 121Nice but...
We enjoyed our stay and found the restaurant and location of the hotel to be convenient to our destination. We requested a king sized bed for our stay. We did receive the bed size that we asked for but were assigned a walk in shower which we were unable to modify to fit our needs. The shower bench was in the down position and we were unable to raise it up to allow enough room to shower and the shower head had an attachment which was not convenient to use. I had to shower with the shower head in my hand which made things like leg shaving difficult. Another issue was that the room had only one mirror which left me waiting for my husband to finish in the bathroom before I was able to get ready. Our room was located on a corner that was near the bus depot which made it a bit more noisy that I prefer. The hotel was very clean and the location is perfect for daily transportation to the attractions. The check in process was lengthy (it took us over 25 minutes to be checked in to the hotel)but I attribute this to the evening hour (around 7PM). If these things are such that do not bother you as an individual, the hotel is great.
