Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

Location. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is located in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. This hacienda-style property stands one mile from Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.

Hotel Features. Spanish and Mayan architectural influences inspired Disney's Coronado Spring Resort's design. Coral-hued, stucco-sided buildings surround Lago Dorado, a 15-acre lake and marina. Dining options include the Maya Grill that serves Latin American cuisine. The Pepper Market is decorated in bold fiesta colors, houses a bakery, and offers American- and Mexican-style quick-service breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Rix Lounge offers American fare and transforms into a nightclub. Laguna Bar serves appetizers and refreshments. A total of 95,000 square feet of function space accommodates events. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby, the Convention Center lobby and at the main pool for a fee. The main outdoor pool is themed as an archaeological-dig site with a five-story Mayan temple, a waterslide, and waterfalls that tumble into a splash pool. Three designated quiet pools and a spa tub are served by Siesta's Cantina. Children's recreational amenities include a playground, a children's pool and the Iguana Arcade. La Vida Health Club contains two massage-treatment rooms, cardiovascular and weight-training equipment, free weights and yoga balls. The Casa de Belleza Beauty Salon offers beauty treatments.

Guestrooms. The Casitas, The Ranchos and The Cabanas represent the resort's three smoke-free lodging choices. Mayan-design details include wrought-iron-style accents and brightly colored armoires, tables and chairs. The resort's guestrooms include refrigerators. In-room safes are complimentary. Bathrooms feature granite-topped vanities and sunset-hued accent tiles. High-speed Internet access is available for a fee.

Expert Tip. Treasures buried in the sand become the property of pint-sized pirates at the Explorers Playground. Young guests are invited to plunder the play area in search of hidden surprises.

Disney's Magical Express:

Guests of the resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express Service. Motor coaches take guests from Orlando International Airport to the resort hotel. Disney picks up and delivers guests' luggage to their selected accommodations (for arrivals between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m.). Guests arriving outside of these hours should pick up their baggage at baggage claim to carry with them on the motor coach.
