Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 13Much better than expected
After reading the reviews posted here and elsewhere I was afraid of booking, but I knew that this hotel had a good location (very close to SA downtown). Since we only wanted a place to sleep and the rate was very cheap, we decided to try it and we were very positively surprised. The room was big and although the couch and drapes were slightly torn, both bathroom and bedroom were very clean and functional. TV, AC, Fridge and Microwave worked fine. Unfortunately the wi-fi connection didn't work for me. Friendly Staff.

The hotel had some issues with the TV which they promptly fixed. The light near the sink was out and was not replaced. We asked for more towels but were never given any. We asked for more pillows but they did not have any more. The staff was ok but were not too eager to help. There was also some renovations taking place.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 13Nothing good to say
Not offered continental breakfast due to their choosing to remodel loby the week of the Final Four. Bad timing on their part. Bad beds and pillows. Bad carpet. The list goes on........

Dirty walls, unkept and dark rooms AC made loud noise and did not work well No room service Office not always open Breakfast limited
Hotel Response
Walls are being painted, light bulbs changed from 60watts to 75 watts, A/C's have been washed and servied, room service is available from 9:30am till 4:30pm, and office is opened from 6:30am till 8:30pm. This is for our employee's safety that from 8:30pm till 6:30am they only use the night window. Our motel is opened 24/7. In breakfast there is bagels, english muffins, toast, fresh hot waffles, coffee, hot coco, hot tea. Coffee is served all day while looby is opened.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 13needs alot of improvement
Checked into the motel and went out immediately. We came back late and discovered that there wasn't any weather stripping on the bottom of the door.and a gap of about one inch. There were cigarette burns on the fiberglass tub and there were only two towels in the room. The next day we went to the game and came back about11 p.m. The room had been made up but when we awoke the next morning and took showers one of the "new clean" towels had dried blood on it.
Hotel Response
All weather stripping on doors is going to be replaced. Everything in the bathroom and vanity area is new. King size beds carry three towels, one bathmat, two washclothes and two hand towels. Double beds carry four towels, two bathmats, three washcloths and two hand towels. About the dried blood on the towel , I do apologize, that towel should have never been put in a room. We cut up towels that have any stains and use them as rags. Anything with blood is always trashed for our safety.
