If you need a quick night's sleep...

this might do the trick. We stayed there after the U2 concert in Charlottesville (about 25 miles away), as it was on the way back home. The room was not very clean. I usually take the bedspread off immediately as they are almost never cleaned, and this one was worse than most. In this case, the sheets weren't much better, having many stains. The free continental breakfast was fine, although it took us a while to find the room. I guess it was OK, as we were only there about six hours, but not sure I'd stay there again, especially given the price.

needs improvement

Floor in the bathroom dirty, hair and dirt all along the edges, hair on back of sink. Mildew on tile grout and shower curtain. Fixtures ancient, bed too soft. Will not return.

Very Good Value

The location is convenient to all kinds of restaurants and right next to I-64, and the motel is VERY pet-friendly. The free breakfast includes make-your-own waffles which are delicious, but sometimes there's quite a wait for the waffle iron. The AC is modern and easy to control. The traffic nearby did not keep us awake, but some other guests were very loud at 3 AM. Very nice staff. Definitely a good choice for the money.

Hotel stay

The hotel room that I was initially given had cockroaches in the bathroom and bugs in the bedroom. I asked to be moved to another non-smoking room. It was a smoking room and smelled of smoke. I asked to be switched again and finally got a clean room. The front desk person was nice and helpful though. The breakfast was fine. The checkout person was nice and looked up and printed out directions for me. If they could work on the cockroach issue I would stay again.

good inexpensive hotel

good hotel for the money. convient to many food places and to the highway. we stopped there at midnight and left early in the morning so didn't get to experience many of the ammenities that were offered. But rooms were comfortable and breakfast was very good.

Friendly and accomodating

I had a wonderful experience, as the employee at the front desk was so incredibly kind and understanding of our strange circumstances. The hotel was clean and comfortable.
