Good location old rooms

We had an “ok” experience here. The Good: First of all it was the cheapest hotel near the south bay on this particular weekend. It was in a decent area of town and close (driving distance mostly though) to shopping and food. It was safe. Beds were very clean and pillow excellent. The Bad: Room was small and old Bathroom slightly dirty, not from lack of cleaning but from old age (not updated in decades?) No irons or ironing boards in room had to ask at front desk and even then it was a very crappy iron and mini board. Towels were small and crappy. Only 1 power plug in whole room. Overall it was acceptable. Service was acceptable. Continental breakfast was acceptable. If you just need a cheap place to sleep and don’t mind old bathrooms then you will be fine. Not much here for families though and I wouldn’t recommend bringing the kids. I would stay here again if it was still $10 cheaper than the other places in the south bay. It’s a 2 star place which for me is fine if I save some $.

Bugs In the Room & Double Beds

The location was great it was right of pch the gentlemen that checked me in was nice and very speedy with the process. Then it was time to go to my room terrible parking and and when i got to the room who still malkes double beds and then there was a few bugs and when i checked out the gentleman told me it was because of the weather how about no it wasnt.

Room for Improvement

I stayed here for 2 nights. The old addage is true here: you get what you pay for. I chose not to book a hotel for twice the rate per night that the bride had negotiated at the "M" hotel. I will never, ever do this again. I travelled alone and did not feel safe in this hotel (I'm a woman). My patio door was afar when I checked in. The ventillation (a/c, heat was very noisy. The bottom of the door did not close completely. My room was right by this large machine that kept coming on and off every 10 minutes or so. The room was kind of dank and had cracks in the walls. The parking was unsecured. It seemed like this hotel (I'd call it a motel) is also a long term living place for low income??? Pros: Guys were nice for check in/out. This hotel could DEFINITELY use an upgrade/renovation. I really wish I were not locked into the room, I would have not even checked in and found a new hotel.

generally a good deal

Very convenient ocean cities location, right on Pacific Coast Highway. Easy access to LAX. Very nice breakfast buffet available earlier and longer than at most places I've seen. There were a couple of bugs in my room--not harmful, but still.... Otherwise the room was great.

Dirty

Good room for the money

Location is convienient and the price was right. The staff was both friendly and helpful. Having to pay $1.50 per day to use the room safe was ridiculous.(Why should you ever have to pay to keep your valubales safe?) At the very least that little tax should be disclosed. All in all can't really complain.

Great room for the money

The hotel staff were very accomodating,helpful and friendly. The only negative comment I have is that the pillows were a little on the flat and hard side. I prefer a soft and fluffy pillow. Other than that, everything else was just fine.

"Great room for the money and location"

I was completely and pleasantly surprised that the hotel was as confortable and clean as iut was for the rate that I paid. The employee staff was extremely professional and customer-centric. I would definitely stay there when I return to LA!!! Awesome experience!!!
