descent enough for the price

I just needed a place to sleep overnight and was looking for an inexpensive choice which I found. It's not a hotel I would choose for an extended stay or vacation, the room was a little dingy and the carpets felt damp, however for the price it was pretty much what I expected and an over all good deal and fine experience.

Great deal for the money.

During football game weekends when all the other hotels in town double or triple their usual rates I was very happy to find this Day's Inn had not, their rate was very reasonable. It made me a little leery, but photo's on their web site looked good so I took the chance. I was pleasantly surprised. All was as expected except I found the bed to be VERY firm, uncomfortably so. The room was clean, pool was nice, typical "carb" breakfast, but better than nothing. I will definitely stay there again esp. on a game weekend.

Good Price

It was a very good price for the room, considering that most places in and around Tallahassee up their rates during football weekends. The adjoining Marie Livingston's Steakhouse was excellent. We will go back there.

it's not the Ritz

non-smoking room , blanket had cigarette burns. bathroom ceiling peeling, mold. small problems-were corrected.Hotel staff was excellant,very polite, very helpful.stayed over night for FSU game.for the price paid, and other area hotels priced @ 130.00 and up (jacked up during home games)this hotel was just fine. steak house next door was ok- but way over priced.

Not the best but it'll do

You can tell upon arrival that it was probably one of the first hotels to go up. The room wasn't too run down but could have been maintained better. There was mold on the walls and I think the pipes were leaking because the floor stayed wet by the sink. It's ok for a couple nights if you are just needing some place to lay down and shower. For the price and the time period of our stay it was worth it.

If cost is important

If cost is key, go with this place. The room was a time capsule from 1982, but it was clean and everything worked. The neighborhood is fine - very close to the interstate and several nicer hotels on the same street.

Good for the money

The room was an excellent deal for the price. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Better than expected for the price

Was not sure what we were getting ourselves into not familiar with the area. But once there it was better than expected. Hotel was very decent, clean rooms,nice pool, breakfast, excellent customer service from all. Just a great experience. Would definitely stay here again. Great location as well.
