We arrived late in the evening, and check in went o.k., however the key cards would not open the room door at first and we had to return to the desk for new ones. The cards never did work on the outside door to the parking lot, so when we were leaving I needed to put a rock in the door to hold it open. Even then I got locked out once and had to wait for someone comming out in order to get back in. All of that was survivable, however, upon checkout the girl did not know how to do the paperwork for Hotels.com. She was trying to bill us even though we were paid in advance. checkout took over 45min, making us late for mass and our luncheon.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 15I guess you get what you pay for
The Days Inn in St. Cloud is more of a truck stop than it is a hotel. I am pretty sure there were drug deals going on outside of our window. There was a group of people smoking and drinking outside of our window until about 3:30 AM. There were stains on the floor and bed frame. I would recommend spending a few more dollars for a nicer stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 15Not the worst but far from the best!
This hotel had many issues. The staff was friendly. The location suited our needs exactly. The hotel in general needs a lot of updating. The towel bar in our room fell off the wall. The light above the tv stand had most of the gold flaked off. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke-every second room down the hallway is a smoking room. The pool area was very dirty. The steps to the water slide had mold and chunks of unknown substances on them. The door keys were very hard to use. We had to get new keys but then realized if you insert them very s-l-o-w-l-y they will work. Breakfast was all breads or cereals-no fresh fruit or yogurt. I have stayed in worse but I will not be staying here again.

This is by far the worst hotel I have had the displeasure to stay at this season. The internet was horrible and the room smelled like bug spray

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 15OK place for the money
I stayed one night at the Days Inn in the middle of January. It was fine for my purposes, i.e. get a night's sleep. The breakfast was actually better than I expected -- cereal, muffins, coffee, juice, yogurt. The hotel itself is pretty rundown and outdated. However, my room was fine and the mattress was reasonably comfortable. The place had wireless internet which was a nice feature. I didn't use the pool area. Front desk people were courteous and polite. Clientele was mostly truck drivers. My guess is the cheap rates are a big draw. I was attending a conference across the street at the Holiday Inn. I saved $40 just by walking across the street!

The room smelled horrible, the bedding had holes in it, the bed springs made metal grinding noise and poked you in the back. My back is still recovering.

People at front desk were very courteous but the hotel was less than desireable. The vending machines did not work and no signs of out of order. Swimming pool was cloudy and did not appear clean. The room had carpet coming up around edges. The plumbing, faucets were corroded and kleenex box in the wall was rusted. Our curtains of which window faced parking lot on first floor did not shut all the way. I do not recommend this hotel at the price we paid. It should have been at least 30% less than what we paid.
