Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 105Very small room
Room and bathroom were very small. Managers special at the hotel was basically same as off the wehotels.com website.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 105Right on the Beach
This hotel is so close to the beach. We walked it every moring and watched the sunsets from there. It was very clean and convenient, service was great and the restaurant was excellent but a bit pricey. The rooms are small but very comfortable and clean. There is so much to do on the island that we really only showered and slept there. For the price this was a great place and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting there on a budget.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 105Needs Updating & Parking
There is limited parking and what there is, is shared with the separately managed and rather expensive restaurant. Although the beach is nearby, it is not visible from the rooms. The rooms are quite small and difficult to get to with luggage. All stairs (yep! I said stairs... and there are several) are on the exterior of each building. The room was clean and bed was comfortable -- met our 1-night need, but was expensive for what was received. I would not recommend for anyone needing assistance climbing stairs, as this location does not have elevators. The location is not within walking distance to shops or reasonable restaurants.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 105Great stay for a solo traveler!
This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. Previous reviews were very accurate -- the rooms are small; the beds are insanely comfortable; the $15/day fee is a little annoying, but I did take advantage of the free wireless in my room. The rooms definitely were small, but I was alone for this leg of the trip so it was perfect for a solo traveler. The room was extremely clean; the staff really friendly (& attractive!); and the location was perfect! Would definitely stay there again.

It was horrible don't waste your time. Beware of the $15 a day resort fee.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 105very nice cozy hotel
We stayed here as a romantic long weekend. The rooms are tiny as stated in previous reviews. This was not an issue as we were only here at night. The room and grounds were very nice. We dind't get to eat at the restaurant as it was very expensive. I fell in love with the tempurpedic mattress and pillows. The beach here is awesome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone especially those on a tight budget who would rather spend their money seeing the island.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 105Great value for what we really care about
The hotel is in Kihei, right on the beach. No crossing the road, you just stroll out your door and 20 steps away you're on a beautiful calm red/tan sandy beach. You stick your head in the water and see tropical fish. You stick your head further in and (between December and April) hear the whales sing to each other. And the mattresses are Tempupedic (sp?). What could be better? Who needs a large room when you're out all the time? Give me a great beach, a great bed, and a clean rooom at a great price and life is very good.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 105Tiny Room; Unjustified "Resort Fee"
This hotel is in a nice location. On beach and near Kihei business area. Beach is nice, but no more than other Maui beaches. Check-in was a bit slow, and not very personable. Both times we went to the front desk, we had to wait several minutes for the one person on duty to get off the phone. Our room was _tiny_, even for just two people. We barely had room to set our two main suitcases. And I have absolutely no idea what the $15 "resort fee" (on top of the room bill) was for. We were not told of any perks or benefits that came with the hotel which would justify an additional fee. Overall, not a horrible stay - just disappointing.

Worked all day and night and did not get to enjoy the beach or services. I did like the service and hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 105Good Room for the Money...but read on
Location, location, location - this hotel is located on one of our favorite beaches in Kihei - with snorkeling literally right outside the hotel. However, there is some trade off with this hotel Pros: You get a REALLY comfortable bed - a temperpedic mattress (only hotel in Maui to offer this). Also, can't beat the location. Does come also with fridge and microwave oven. Cons: Rooms are TINY - very small. Also the air conditioner units don't work well. Still, the value was great for the location and we would go there again.

Hotel staff was okay but that was it. Room was very small, bathroom was hardly usable because of size. No place to sit and relax.
