needs improvement

not good

The indoor pool water was Frigid

The indoor pool water was extremely cold. We will asked to have the pool water warmer and were told nothing could be done. We will never stay here again.

Needs renovating

The room and bedding was very dirty. The heater did not work and I was up all night turning off/on because it would get vwery cold and then very warm. When I complained about the room the attendant stated "Unfortunately I can't do any thing because we are closing in a week for renovation". I feel I should have gotten at least part of the fee returned.

Great location but closing

Apperently this Hotel will be closing in two weeks. the vending machines were empty or removed. the staff was not very helpful. the room was nice and clean. located across from the mall which was nice, but place is old and is closing.

Spend a little more and go somewhere else!!

The first room we were given was a non-smoking room that had definitely been smoked in. Changed rooms, should have changed hotels! The rooms were dirty and the carpet was filty. No mattress pad and the sheets kept coming off the bed all night. Spend a little more and go somewhere else!!

You get what you pay for.

We went for a girls shopping weekend. I took my daughter, two granddaughters, and a 2yo. The bathrooms were moldy, wouldn't let 2yo take a bath. The blankets on the bed had hair all over them. The soda machines were all empty, was told the hotel was closing at the end of the month so there wasn't any soda. The pool looked great, we didn't use it. It is close to the mall the only advantage. I have stayed at several Days Inns good thing this one is closing.

worst rat hole

no hot tube working rooms were dirty dingy and food was bad and the staff was not willing to help because the place was closing none of the things offered were there if all the hotels are like this one you may as well sleep in an out house and eat out trash can WORST PLACE EVER THANKS GREAT MALL AND MINN

No hamds out

The price was very good, and the staff was outstanding. The front desk staff was very helpful, and wouldn't take a tip, offered in appreciation.

Comfortable room for the money

Rooms are fairly nice. The pool area, if you have kids, is excellent. Extremely close for those going to the Mall of America. Some of the housekeeping needs to improve i.e. mildew on the shower walls.

Good location, close to Mall of America, price is reasonable for traveller with tight budget.

Economical, not memorable

This hotel is a great place to stay for anyone looking for a reasonable room at an economical cost in a convenient location. You get a clean, comfortable room and not much else (although the giant atrium does feature a very large pool), but if as a budget-conscious business traveler that's all you need, then this is the place to stay. I will stay here again for the price and the convenience of the location.
