Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 114Outerbanks Weekend
Great room for the price. Small suite had two doubles and sofa bed and while an older hotel, the room was clean and up to date. We were able to check in early which made our weekend even better. We had a problem with the lock on our suite and management was right on the issue and had it replaced while we were out for breakfast! Management was awesome all the way around! Talk about location - the beach was steps from the property and that was my reason for going. Great view from the second floor even if your room does not face the ocean. I will definitely stay here again!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 114Needs a little work
The Hotel was as expected, right on the ocean, clean comfortable beds and linen. The bathroom and kitchen although clean were really run down and Unfortunatly there was a really musty smell throughout the suite . For the price we paid we got what we expected but the free(good) breakfast was a really nice surprise.

Staff was very accommodating. However, there was a definite musty smell in the rooms. The room was clean, and the bedding very nice; but still there was that presence of mustiness which to me signals molds and my allergies reacted accordingly.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 114Great Beach Retreat
My boyfriend and I stayed in the king size bed suite and really utilized the kitchen. The room was very clean and spacious. Loved the location being right on the ocean and nice area to sit with a grill. End of September made for it not being too crowded but still warm weather. We were even able to go swimming in the ocean one day. Would definitely stay there again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 114Great Hotel
I reviewed quite a few hotels before choosing this one. I decided upon this one since it had received good marks. I took a chance and was glad i did. The location was great, internet was fast enough for my means, very clean room overall I was very satisfied with my room. I would return here again. It was a wee bit expensive (stayed during the week before labor day) but at the end I needed a room with internet and was glad I choose this one.

Hotel oceanfront view had a great location but the room quality was real poor and the breakfast in the morning was below average. I was glad that I statyed for a weekend and not a week.

Of the places I've stayed in the outer banks, this wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst either. For the cost of the room I expected better accomodations. The carpet and the bathroom should be updated. I'm big on clean bathrooms. Unfortunately it's not a place I will stay in the future. However, the staff at the front desk were very friendly.

The microwave turn table did not work and the mattresses were not very comfy. Breakfast was all starches and carbs but we enjoyed our stay.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 114Not nice at all. Not sure how it got good reviews
I expected a lot better for a hotel on the beach. It was a hotel/motel. My room ended up being up this set of outdoor rickety wooden stairs. The room was very dated and the bathroom was tiny and in poor condition. The entire room smelled very musty (as did my parents rooms). Bath tub drain did not work. floors were dirty...my sons white socks were black after walking on the carpet. I would not stay here again ever. I should have complained and asked for a refund.
