Awesome for the price

I sta y at lest 4 to 5 times a week in a hotel for business and this hotel is a winner for me!!!

Few minor fixes

This hotel was a great deal for the location and ease of finding it. We were, literally, right across the street from the Galleria, just down the road from Wal-Mart and around the corner from all sorts of shopping places. The staff was very friendly. The room was nice and clean. Only a couple of minor issues being: someone had punched a hole in the wall and it was not patched up, a few cobwebs up in the corners, and the warm blanket had a few burn marks/holes. It slept well. The bathroom was clean. The heat worked wonderfully (which was great considering we had been out at a football game all night!). Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and will definitely stay here again if our travels require.

A clean room at a cheap price: comfort obviously not important.

The room was clean. BUT, it was missing the refrigerator I was told I'd get. The bath water was luke warm, and the tub drained before I could get into it. The toilet ran all night and the A/C was completely wacko. It blasted out cold air, then when the twin un-fitted sheet slipped off the full size bed,leaving me on a bare matress, I woke up un a hot sweat because the A/C turned it self off. When I managed to get up to check, it suddenly turned on and blasted the room with icy air again. Once more I settled down, and got my covers straightened out and once again I woke up to beads of sweat,with no covers and no air.

Needs Improvement

With the increase in technology use, the hotel needs to upgrade their services. The television was an old basic RCA television and it did not get good reception. The room itself was good. With the area surrounding the hotel, I expected something a little more for the price I paid.

Not very good

They only had one person working there and asking for a couple of extra pillows was way above their customer service capabilitiy level. The beds were like canoes and the convenient store on the corner charged me full price for yesterdays paper since they had sold out of todays paper. I couldnt find any pizza coupons anywhere and paid $45 for 2 medium pizzas and 10 hot wings. I know it was race weekend but come on the hotel is 60 miles from Talladega and there werent that many people staying there anyway.

Enjoyed our stay

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in a clean and comfortable room. It was very quiet and in a great location for shoppers! We had a very lovely time.
