Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 18Needs a lot of improvement
The room was not dirty but it was not well kept. The repairs that had been done to the bathroom were not professional quality that I expected. There was messy caulking, toliet that wobbled and the chair needed to be steam cleaned. I would not stay there again. I would spend the extra bucks and go somewhere else.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 18Good for price but needs housekeeping improvement
Great for price, nice pool, the only issue was bugs in light over sink. They appeared to have been there a while and were never cleaned during the stay.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 18Good room for price paid
Got a King, Smoking. The room didn't smell like smoke (luckily). Room was very clean. The bathroom was really small, and needed more towels, but it was clean also. Overall good room for the price. Had a pretty nice pool to, even though we didn't actually get to swim. B+

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 18great room for the money
We were passing through the area and just needed a place to sleep. We didn't want to spend a lot of money for no longer than we were going to be there so we didn't expect a 3 or 4 star hotel. However, once we got there, we were extreamly pleased with our overall stay. Our room was clean, including the carpet, there was no odor at all and the breakfast was far better than a lot of other more expensive hotels we have stayed in. We have definatly paid a lot more and got a lot less at other hotels. The hot tub was a great end to our evening, however, it could have had a bit more water in it. The water level only covered the jets halfway.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 18nothing fancy!
nothing fancy, but did the trick for us as a stop on a long road trip. bed was very comfortable, but the recliner chair was in need of cleaning and you could tell the corners of the bathroom hadn't been given much attention.

I like the outside room entrances and the newly remodelled section we were in is nice.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 18Dirty Bathroom
I found the bathroom to be dirty...mildew on shower curtains, mildew around tub, build-up of dirt in corners (major amount). When we went to breakfast, we were greeted by a pair of flip-flops at the door. The owner was sleeping on one of the sofas near the breakfast area and was really out of it. The night clerk had people who were obviously her friends around and one was on reserved the computer for guest ( I had planned to use it, but her friend was playing a card game on it). When the clerk asked about the accomodations, I told her about the shower and that the sleeping person in the lobby was not acceptable. I hope that this gets to the manager!

The major problem was that the air conditioning was not on when we arrived. We turned it on at about 6:00PM & it took until approximately 2-3 AM before the room was comfortable.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 18Great Value
My mom and I stayed here for one night in August before starting our trek on the World's Longest Yardsale in Gadsden. You really can't beat the value. We were only looking for a clean, nice place to sleep for a night and this hotel fit the bill. The room was tidy and the people at the front desk were very kind and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious and they offered hot foods in addition to the regular free hotel breakfast fare. There were several fast food places right by us and you could drive to an Applebees in about 5 minutes. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
