room location at front of the hotel near I95...did not sleep well because of noise from both interstate traffice and loud horns from passing Amtrak trains. price included complimentary shuttle service from airport to hotel and from hotel to cruiseport service was extremely disorganized and unreliable

Don't count on their shuttle service. It's not dependable. Talked to them more than once about our needs and when we got there all we got were excusses.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 18 of 53Good Value
We found this hotel to be a good value. The rooms had been freshly painted and the bedding appeared to be new. The free airport shuttle was a great help and the shuttle driver provided excellent service.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 20 of 53Very noisey
The single gazed windows made it sound like you were right on the highway. I would pay more to have a quieter room. To top it off, a train, blowing it's whistle, went by every few hours. Not a place to get some sleep!

The room was clean and orderly, but smelled like smoke. We had to leave the door open for a while. Street noise was very loud. No hot tub!

We booked a non-smoking room which was clearly stated on our reservation. When we arrived there, the person at the desk said they didn't have a non-smoking room. He also asked us a $2. fee for the use of facilities (parking etc.) We told him that we didn't have a car. We also were told they had "shuttle" service. When we got ther we were told that we were too late for the service. Paid $35. for cab. Promised shuttle service to ship. It was scheduled to leave at 12:00. At 1:20, with no sign of shuttle, had to take another cab $35. We called Hotels.com immediately and explained the situation and they were very helpful in cancelling our return reservation and settng us up with another reservation in the Red Carpet Inn. We were very appreciative with the help Hotels.com gave us. Also Red Carpet were there within 15 minutes of our call.

Trip Type: Family Review 26 of 53If you lke bugs and more bugs, than this is the place
I was really upset when I got to the motel room and my wife told me that she not only had a lot of little bugs on the end table, but she had to kill a spidder in the bed when she turned back the sheets. The bathroom had mold all around the tub, the tile that was put in didn't even have any grout in the cracks. The coffee wouldn't even work. It didn't make much of a difference telling the desk clerk, couldn't do anything, even get another room. The time we got into the room it was fairly late, so it was try and find another that late or deal with the situation. I have let the hotel chain know what we went through and said that this will not happen to us again from them.

Trip Type: Business Review 27 of 53LOUD!
6 lanes of Traffic on Oakland Park BLVD. 8 lanes on 95 and trains every 9 minutes blowing their horns. Unbelievably loud! Run down and paint peeling. Get what you pay for I guess. Pool out back was clean but LOUD with all the traffic and trains!

Trip Type: Business Review 28 of 53You get what you pay for
This Days Inn is well worn and on a main road with a railroad track running next to the property which makes it a fairly high noise environment. Bring a positive attitude and your foam earplugs and none of that will bother you. The location is fairly close to the beach and the downtown cafe scene which is the best part of staying here. The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was more than sufficient, but you need to get there early or the selections will be slim. All in all a decent place for the price.
