Ok for a one night stay

The room was fairly clean and surprisingly had some updates to it(flat panel tv, newer beds, new furniture). The people who work there were nice and the room rates were very fair. However, do not get a room on the side where route 447 is! It is loud all night with the cars and people speeding that you will never get a decent night of sleep. Other than that, the hotel was decent.

Grounds and noise

Start by saying, we booked 3 nights and left after 2. Generally it's a middle of the road hotel, and by that I mean it is surrrounded by tar and concrete. There is no pocono mt. atmosphere. I know for the price I wasn't getting a chalet or log cabin but G wiz. Their adjoining bar/restaraunt is LOUD. We were kept awake by the pounding bass of the DJ till after 1am. We were out hiking on our 3rd day there and came back to the room to relax and shower then maybe go out to eat. The chamber maids hadn't made it to our room by 4:30pm. So that coupled with the fear of another night of Rave music keeping us up till all hours, we decided to head home and sleep in the peace and comfort of home sweet home! We also know that the hotel can't control ignorance of other customers but the place has a echo effect and the noise levels were exagerated!!

Slimy pool

We were first sent to a room already occupied by other guests. With apologies we were given another room, while the clerk complained about another guest complaining about a backed up toilet (not good). At first we enjoyed the over warm pool until we realized the slime and filth that lay beneath us. That was disgusting! The rooms were comfortable and kept clean and stocked with towels by the room attendents though, and the surrounding area was quiet. I don't think we'll be staying there again.

Old hotel needs remodled wouldnt take my family there.

Perfect Service second rate room!

OK....I want to start out by saying walking into the lobby and speaking to the desk employees you would think you were at a Marriott! They were the NICEST people I have ever met! The manager especially! We wanted to check in early and not only did he make it happen he made it happen an hour earlier than he stated!!! He gave us local reccommendations and a coupon for % off dinner! Then we went to the room which great upon walking in the door. All new linins and TV and appliances! Then the bathroom...which was scarey! We didnt take a shower because the tub looked filthy but it was just old. The molding was coming off the wall! Everything was great utnil 7am....it sounded like the elephant parade starting at 7 and not ending utnil after 10!!!!!!! I was on a get away from baby weekend so I was looking forward to sleeping in DIDNT HAPPEN!!!!!!! The bathroom was easy to look past the noise was NOT...I loved this hotel although I probably will not stay again because I need to sleep in while I am away from home :(

Great for the money

We booked this hotel last minute, but still got a great rate. It was in an area with lots to do and right off the highway so it was easy to find. The outside was a little rough looking, but the employees were very pleasant. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We would stay there again.

Needs Improvement

My family stayed at the Days Inn last weekend. We were not happy at all. The hotel room bathroom was dirty,and it appeared that the floors were not vaccumed the bathroom floors were so slippery you had to be extremely careful. When we asked for a roll away bed and extra blankets we were advised that they had none. We were gone most of Saturday and returned to the room at 3:00 to find that maid service had not been to the room yet.
