Clean!

It was very clean, maybe just a little too clean. Everything smelt of clorox. Other than that it was comfortable.

Good room for the money

The room was huge, and very clean. Check-in was a breeze, and the evening clerk provided directions to me via telephone, a few times, as I was lost. Upon check-out, I asked for a receipt, even though I had pre-paid. I was told by the morning clerk that they don't provide receipts as I had pre-paid and I should monitor my credit-card statements. How rude! Otherwise, everything was great!

What do you mean no pets!!

Great place! No pets....well unless you check in at night and they don't know till 2 days after. Then we weren't allowed to stay another night. no big deal though. I was happy anyway.

Great room for the money

Large, clean, comfortable room and bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised and was not expecting much for the price. It's by a train track, but only heard the train once and not long enough to bother me. Was able to use the hotel computer free of charge for 15 minutes at a time also. Great to look up last minute directions and print out. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Need Help

When I was there the wireless internet did not work for the whole time, I called the front desk and was told they were fixing it but it still did not work. They offered me a cable to hook up the computer to the wall but then never came threw with the cable. I wa also miss directed to a dinner location. Very poor customer service

Needs Improvement

The second most important thing about a room, first being cleaniness, is the comfort of the bed for me. Everyone needs a good nights rest. After all thats why we stay at these places when we are away from home. The bed was like sleeping on a box spring. Absolutely no give. Give me a clean room and a graet bed and I'm happy.

Perfect for that business trip

The hotel was great for the price. The service was excellent and very friendly. The room was in pretty good shape. Not really a place for vacation but more for a business trip. The room had a television, a desk, and alarm clock. It was perfect for my first trip down to Texas ever and I would use this hotel again. Not a vacation type place but a business place with comfort.

Don not stay here!!!

The last few times my employees stayed here the non smoking rooms had been smoked in. The last time, the desk clerk told my employee he did not have a reservation. He had the confirmation page printed out but the clerk was too stupid to understand what the confirmation number was. He refused to call his manager and argued for almost 45 minutes. Once the manager was called the reservation was miraculously found. The clerk never appologized and was very rude. My empoyees have stayed at this hotel many times in the last two years. I will never make another reservation at this hotel.

Better than Expected

Great for the price, clean, gave us extra pillows, had a laptop with internet for guests to use, and continental breakfast was better than expected also.

Train Tracks

Unfortunately the hotel was located right at the train tracks by an intersection. The roomed smelled like there had been some smokers in there as well. The Staff was very courteous though which made the stay bearable.

Very clean and cozy. The trains at night will wake you up and the hot tub still was not working but over all very nice. Good breakfast, nice staff.

Needs Improvement

The Hotel only had non-smoking rooms, but my room smelled of stale cigarettes. The bed was not very comfortable, but I will say that the bathroom was a nice size, and it was clean.
