Days Inn Corvallis

NEVER STAY HERE

Horrible hotel. My husband called it "The Tweaker Inn". First night there was a skin head party going on in the room next to ours and rather than get those people to behave, we had to move rooms at 3am. The beds were like laying directly on springs. Fortunatley I brought extra bedding, so we laid on that for extra padding. maid service came 2 days of the 6 that I stayed there and when they did, they did not even empty the trash. We were travelling with pets (2 dogs) otherwise we would have left.

There was alot of noise coming from the room above us. Yet it was conviently located near Oregon state university.

Needs improvement

First and foremost, no toilet tissue in room. Room rug was dirty. Bed Spread smelled of sweat. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. IK believe it had a rating of 3.4.

Sometimes shower water is cold during times when many others shower.

maintenance of building and grounds sub-par

Upon arrival we noticed a ground floor window with a loose screen which hung off its frame. Also, someone had trimmed some shrubs and left the clippings on the sidewalk in front of the building. They remained there for the 3 days we stayed. This did not exactly enhance the "curb appeal", and had we not already paid, we might have looked for another place to stay.

Okay, but ...

The lack of sound proofing was the major drawback for this hotel. Yes, it was old and dingy, but I could have lived with that for the price, but the fact that you could hear the people in the next room talking, showering, flushing toilets, and the people upstairs walking (sounded like they were bowling!), made it very unsatisfactory. Location is perfect for visiting the college, but the noise was too much.

Days Inn Covallis

Hotel was basic. The room was small, but overall clean. The pillows were very comfortable, the bed ok. The sink area for the bathroom was out in the room, so it was a little different. The staff was very nice. I needed an iron, and even though they didn't have them in the room, I was able to use one.

Corvallis

Good rate, comfortable, friendly staff.

This hotel is located convenient to OSU, nice hotel for a great price. Good for a short stay at an amazing town.

Nice service, nice room

The room was very nice for what i paid. I just had a very uncomfotable bed. The liocation was nice to pretty much get everywhere in corvallis.

Not bad, but could be better

The lady at the front desk was very helpful at getting me a fridge and microwave as I asked. But the bed was not comfortable at all and the bed cover was old and had holes in it from cigarette burns. Surprisingly the room looked recently updated and a nice shower. If the front entrance carpet was anything like the back/side entrance I would not have stayed there for it was disgustingly filthy and old. The whole place could use some updating too. The continental breakfast left little to be desired.
