Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 77Disappointed this time
I've stayed here before and was happy with it but this time I was not. The front desk clerk obviously dislikes children because he was extremely rude and made hateful comments to them. After putting up with that I made it into my room and was disgusted with the dirty carpeting and walls. I guess it just depends on which room you get because I've had others before I was happy with. I was blow drying my hair and it knocked the power off. The toilet barely flushed and the bathroom area seemed dirty. After the whole front desk ordeal I won't be giving this hotel my money anymore.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 77Needs improvement
The best about the hotel was the fact that the person in charge of the front desk was great he even delivered an iron to the room. Other than that I have stayed at other hotels for the same price and they were much better looking.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 77Good value
It is an acceptable motel for the price. We had a few problems - did not provide new towels - only made the bed twice (once when we were there and they asked). Had to ask to get coffee maker supplies restocked. Power went out on one side of the room (television) twice. Ceiling started to drip during a rain storm. Staff was helpful, however, and even helped us print out our return flight boarding passes. Very friendly and satisfactory for the price.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 77Central Location, Horrible Hotel
When we first got there we noticed there was no alarm clock, the standing lamp didnt work and there were no towels in the bathroom. We got there on a Sunday and left Thursday, and our room was only cleaned once. The maid left a note on our bed saying we had too much personal stuff on our bed for the rooms to be cleaned. And there was only 1 item on the bed. The hotel was obviously apartments to some people and they were really dicey characters, and they made a lot of noise while we were there and the front desk tried to say it was us making the noise. I would never stay in this hotel again and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 77Great for the money!
The room was nice and clean. The staff was nice. The pool was also clean and nice. For a stay of a week or less, this is a good choice for the money.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 77lock your door!
Our stay was fine until the morning we left. The maid barged in without knocking at 11:00 on the dot to find us in bed! Our receipt said check out was noon. Apparently there is a different check out time (11:00) from what it says on our receipt from hotels.com (noon). The people who checked us in/out were aware of this but failed to mention until I complained about the intrusion upon check out. He hardly apologized, blaming it on the misinformation on my end, and told me he would just leave a note for maid service reminding them knock before entering a room.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 77not too bad
We went for a cheap quick weekend. This was our 2nd time staying at the hotel. Rooms are clean, just old. Went to breakfest one morning, at 9:45..ended at 10. there was toast and oranges left. Workers didnt mind swimming after hours as long as no noise complaints. If ur familiar with the area, the hotel is kind of hard to get to because of traffic and having to cross, US19.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 77Lovely Room for Excellent Price
Enjoyed the customer service, pool, and beautiful landscaping at this quaint little hotel. Great for a one night stop, very affordable. Just don't expect to walk to beaches!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 77Got What We Paid For
We needed a room for one night close to Honeymoon Island, and that's exactly what we got. It was kind of scary in a lot of little ways. There were a lot of heavily tattooed and muscled men smoking and leaning on the rails staring out into space. The intensely friendly man at the desk was also a little scary in his desire to establish personal connections with each and every person he encountered. Thanks for telling me my license photo looked like it could be my son (I am 20-something woman). I had to make a decision right away that the white speckled stains on the carpet by the bed was from sunscreen...please, please let it have been sunscreen. I left my shoes on at all times. The TV was okay for the first ten minutes until a high pitched whine made it impossible to keep it on. Turning it off for a few minutes at a time helped. Good things: mini fridge, location in relation to our destination, pool Bad things: the feeling of impeding doom, noisy

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 77Will NEVER book here again.
I booked here after reading many GOOD reviews. I thought that it'd be a clean and comfy place for a good price. I wasn't expecting frills or anything spectacular. I also, however, did not expect the hotel to be right in between a pawn shop and a gun/ammo store. I also didn't expect to have a room full of drunken bandits, cursing and smoking til 2 AM just above our room (I was travelling with a child, too). I didn't expect the 2+ inch cockroach/palmetto bug in our room, or the room door not being able to fully close. After arriving, I immediately called around to find something else, but was unable to find anywhere that was pet friendly. The place is old, NOT clean, and in a really crappy part of town. Also, the proximity to the beach is not what they say it is. It's at least a 15-20 min. drive. Spending a little more will go a long way. Don't even bother with this place!
