Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 168Not Your 'Father's Days Inn'--Can't Wait to Get Back To
If you are used to Middle American name brand hotel chains, you will be most pleasantly surprised, it's definitely not your typical motel stay. In an area you can feel safe in, within blocks of Lake Shore Drive/Lincoln Park Zoo (about 20 min. walk away), extremely well-kept/clean, Bally's gym arrangement an exceptional plus, breakfast was carb-oriented but extensive and luxe, desk and lobby personnel most helpful and respectful, for big-city the (valet only) garage parking is reasonable (half cost of most other hotels). Don't take a chance on slightly cheaper places listed--read the reviews and you'll see they are no bargains.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 168Nice hotel
Although it is located about four blocks from the CTA trains, it is still just a short walk. Valet parking was reasonable. The beds had nice comfortable pillow-top mattresses which alone impresses me. There is a pancake house around the corner for late night meals. Situated in a busy area for shopping and such, with lots to do nearby.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 168Best little kept secret of Chicago
hotel was more than what I expected! Normally when I stay in Chi-town for a weekend of fun activities surrournded by the friendliest mid-westerns known to man, my typical hotel in the N Halsted/W Belmont Ave area is much more expensive. Now that I've found The Days Inn Chicago, I'll be making my future reservations here. Was pleasantly surprised by the super friendly staff and clean rooms. The other fantastic bonus with this hotel/area is it's only an 8 minute walk to FREE parking on the streets around the North Pond!

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 168Adequate for an overnight stay.
Pleasant staff, very helpful. The hotel was clean. They were very kind in opening up the breakfast room in the evening to give me tea, sugar and cream, since I prefer tea to coffee. Very helpful in general.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 9 of 168Good enough for the money.
I wouldn't stay here for more than one night, is not my kind of hotel. But for what we paid we didn't expect any better, the room was clean, the staff was friendly and the neighborhood was not bad at all.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 168Nice Small Hotel
Single room was small (and the elevator) but clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Location is fine with lots of shops and restaurants nearby and public transport. Would go back again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 168Clean hotel, small bathrooms
This hotel was very clean, however, the bathrooms are very small - no room to place clothing while showering or accommodate toiletries. For breakfast, would like to have seen more of a variety of fruit, especially fruit toppings for waffles.
