Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 51Great place to stay and relax.
My friend came out from LA and we had an enjoyable week here. Even though I only live a few miles away, I was able to have a great stay vacation. The staff was really friendly and made us welcome. The only minor problems were that the noise from the metro line can be a bit much if you aren't use to noise. That won't be a problem if you stay in the back hotel rather than the one facing Camelback. I was raised near a military base so quickly adjusted to it. Plus the room key had to be recharged for the final three days. Guess that I have a magnetic personality and kept draining the juice out of the card. Generally a great place to hang out and relax. Having the train and buses available made it easy to get around the city and see many great things.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 51Great room for the money
The hotel service was great - most of the staff was really nice. There were some shady buildings next to it, but it was in a well-lit area. It's not exactly in the heart of downtown, but it's near a light rail stop, with about a 15-20 minute ride in. Not too bad at all. The hotel itself was decently clean; seemed like it had older furniture, but it was pretty clean. I would definitely consider staying here the next time I'm in the Phoenix area. You can't beat the price!

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 51This is a very good budget hotel in not the very best neighborhood.
The hotel was clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My room had all the amenities I expected and more. The location is only a block from the light rail making it very convient to the convention center, the baseball and basketball arenas as well as the airport. Overall much more than I expected. The only drawback is the neighborhood which is fine during the day, however as a woman travelling alone, I was a little uncomfortable walking at night.

It was fine for the price, beds lumpy, old and our room didnn't have a ref. & was suppose to be a suite. Continental breakfast a joke.

For the price it was a decent place to stay, but the bed was less than desirable.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 51"Awesome Customer Service"
I just want to thank Dino from the front desk for his GREAT customer service. I got a little lost getting to the hotel because I left directions at home on accident but Dino was very patient and led me to the hotel with no problems. He was also very helpful in suggesting a place to eat for my children and myself. For someone who travels a great deal it was refreshing to meet someone who seemed to enjoy his job and had a wonderful and pleasent personality.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 51Very satisfied.
The hotel was centrally located. The room was clean and the sheets and pillow cases were super clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great. The pool is awesome..it was huge and the hot tub was very big as well. The patio area was nicely manicured. A great place to stay. Not to mention the new rail trolley system is right on camelback!

The hotel and my room were clean but the main lamp in my room didnt work and I got locked out of my room twice in three days. I did like that the internet was so easy to use and stayed connected. the breakfast was ok but not what I expected.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 51Music all night
My family and I stayed the weekend in this hotel. Saturday night the hotel had a sweet 16 birthday in their banquet hall. The music didn't stop at all. I finally passed out at 2 o'clock in the morning. After complaining at 10pm they told me it would be over by 11pm and offered me another room. My two year old was already asleep so we didn't want another room, just the music to be turned down. Plumbing was bad and our non-smoking room had ciggerate burns all over our beds. By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

The hotel was okay for the price and what we needed. It needs to be remodeled.

We were on the 4th floor and we could hear very clearly, people down in the parking lot. We were actually startled awake, by the loud crying of a child. The hotel needs to be updated. I guess I was disappointed, because I thought Days Inn would be nicer. On the positive side, the room was clean and the light rail made it convienient to go the D-Backs game.
