Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 79Met Our Needs Perfectly
This twenty year old hotel has been owned by Days Inn for the last two years and, although somewhat dated, it was clean and freshly decorated. The staff were professional and friendly and the facility provided the basic amenities, breakfast, business nook, treadmill, but don't expect something you'd find in a Sheraton. We are very familiar with this area and stayed three nights. The location, price, and basic amenities worked perfectly for us. The bathroom only had the toilet and shower. The sink, mirror, hair dryer, etc. were outside the bathroom separated from the rest of the room by a half wall. This arrangement, although unusual, worked out great for us. Lastly, if you require a roll-away bed, be aware that they are on a first-come first-served basis only. When I made our our reservation I was under the impression the roll-away bed was reserved with the room. Luckily, they had one available.

We were a little nervous about the hotel, but we were greeted with a very friendly face, quick check in, and satisfactory room. Would defintely stay again.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 79easy access to Midway from a "safe area"
We kept our map in order to return. The area is "industrial" as expected but not an issue. Also the road construction seems to never end, but neither issue would keep us from returning.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 79Good Hotel
Small hotel sign, missed it the first time. Nothing spectacular, but it was clean and well maintained. Continental Breakfast was nothing spectacular, but it was maintained and had enough food. Front desk staff were not very visible, hung out in back room. When I asked the hotel clerk the first night about a restaurant, she was going to send me 3 miles away and there were two good restaurants within a block or two.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 79Great place for the money
We were very pleased with the hotel, not sure what to expect for the price. We work for a non-profit in Madison and we had to attend a seminar at the Marriot, the rooms were $199.00 plus tax and we needed two. With the small budget we have for training I could not see spending that much money for one night. I have stayed in Days Inn before and thought I would take a chance on this one. My assistant and her husband had one room and I had my own room. Normally I am somewhat afraid in hotel rooms, but this room had great door locks and I felt perfectly safe. When you first get there you realize the neighborhood is not that great, but there were lots of people staying at the hotel and I am glad we made the decission to use your hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 79Needs Improvement
My room overall was good, but I had a concern about the security of my room. I left for a meeting on two seperate days and came back to my room and the door was left open. Not ajared but left open!!! Also, housekeeping did not empty the trash or pick trash from the floor. When I reported it to the front desk who later reported it to the mananger, I did not receive a phone call from the manager yet a staff member called me to apologize. I felt that out of customer service that the office manager would have called me or came by my room to ensure all was well. Still waiting for the manager to contact me. I spent four days (Thursday to Monday)at the hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 79Great Room for the money
The place was pretty nice for what I paid for... the hotel staff was really nice and helped out whenever they can. Even though it was a smoking and nonsmoking hotel a person couldnt tell that because they did a very good job at seperating smoking with nonsmoking.
