Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 29Great room for the money
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pool stayed open until 10 pm which was great! Easy check out.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 29Decent value for the money.
For the money, it was a decent place to stay. The decor is a little outdated, but comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, check-in and -out was quick and easy. The location is good, right next to a major shopping area with plenty of restaurants. Overall, for the money it was a good value.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 29We liked it
We liked the location, restaurants and shopping, plus major interstate nearby. The staff is amiable. There aren't any unpleasant odors, like many hotels. The pool was small, but we got to have it all to ourselves. The beds are a little hard. The breakfast was basically the same as you come to expect. We'd stay here again.

The air conditioner in the room we had didn't work. The manager put us in a another room and the air conditioner worked fine. No other problems. This place is real handy to many eating places plus there is a Walmart right across the street. I picked this location because it was close to the Air force Academy. For the price you can't beat it.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 29Great value for money
Our room was clean and bed very comfortable. The bath was small but adequate. The included breakfast was listed as continental but had a good variety of foods including "make your own waffles". The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi are in a separate building from the hotel but only a few steps away. The hotel is close to main highways with lots of restaurants, Wal-Mart and a nice mall nearby. The only "glitch" we had was having to pay extra for adding one of our adult children on the second night. There was extra cost for her and another extra charge for a roll away bed. We travel quite often and would definately stay in this hotel again.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 29Biggest problem was the bed
The overall experience was fun. Knowing that it wasn't classed as a high star rating, I wasn't expecting the perfect environment stay. The bed was stiff and the pillows gave me a headache in the mornings. The rest of the time was spent out and about so I can't reference the TV lineup or anything else.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 29Short Visit
I recently stayed at the Days Inn - Air Force Academy on a 2-day business trip. The staff was very courteous and the room was quiet & clean. Several restaurants within a very short walking distance (Famous Dave's BBQ and Cracker Barrel); close to Chapel Hills Mall and the location I had business at. It was a good visit and a good value.

It was the smallest hotel I have ever seen in my life! Maybe 30 rooms total. It was comfortable, very clean, & the front desk clerk was friendly. It was all we needed a bed & shower & a great price!

Hotel staff very nice but the TV that was in our room had a busted speaker so watching tv for 2 days was out of the question!!

would have been nice if the pool water was warmer and the pool was bigger was small for a hotel, also a better breakfast would have been nice for the price of the room.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 29needs improvement
Not enough parking. we had to park next door at KFC. The room smelled like it was smoked in and then had a bunch of perfume sprayed to cover it up. (It was a non-smoking room) The rooms needed updated. They looked old. The walls were very thin. We heard the people around us way too much! It is in a good location though. Close to the mall and a lot of restaurants.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 29Days Inn-Air Force Academy meets my expectations
When I booked the hotel I was aware that it only had a two star rating. For the short amount of time I was going to be in Colorado and the fact I only needed a place to lay my head and change my clothes, I wasn't too concerned about the online comments I had read. I will say I was pleased upon arrival because it was clean and the lobby was bright and inviting with a newly renovated look. I was even more pleased at check out because the price charged was 20% cheaper then I had expected. I did check with the clerk to be sure it was my bill and was told the price had been adjusted through hotels.com. For what I needed and expected, this was well worth the money
