great location for this price

Hotel is located right in the center of French Quarter, but without the noice of Burbon Street. Has a nice swimming pool and offers a nice breakfast. It's a little old, AC is loud and you enter the lift from garage not from the lobby, but for this location I'd never complain about that. We will book there next time again.

Hotel needs improvement

My sister & I wanted a rm w/two beds and the only one available was a handicap rm that had been very poorly redone to accommodate a handicap person. The shower was too low & water pressure low on the second day. The rm was very dark and one of the 3 lamps had a burned out bulb which they replaced, but it was still too dark. The elevator - which wasn't all that close - was unbelievably loud and made a crashing sound with every stop. The beds were comfortable and the staff very nice. The hotel has a number of ghosts, none of whom we had the pleasure of meeting. The hotel is a very short walk to everything you want to see in the French Quarter. Parking was cheaper than most of the area hotels. When we checked in we were given coupons for two free drinks at the bar.

Great room for the money.

Great location. We were able to walk all over. 1 Block from Boubon St. Don't except to get a great breakfast. Just cold stuff. 3 times we had to go get new keys they just won't work. Construction 1st thing in the morning would you wake you up. I would go there again for the location.

Super Location

The Dauphine Orleans is located one block from bourbon street, and withing walking distance to all of the french quarter and riverfront. The rooms (ours were 4th floor) were super comfortable and surprisingly quiet. memory foam mattresses and plush linens were a pleasant surprise. The continental style breakfast was good, and included a waffle station. The pool courtyard area was small but charming, and all the staff were fantastic, super friendly and nice. having been to the french quarter before, I was expecting a bit old and run down as most buildings there are, but I found the Dauphine to be well kept and clean. The parking was 30 bucks a day added to the room rate, but all the public parking in the french quarter is pricy, and having the car on site was handy.

6 nights in the Crescent City

I have stayed there many times with both friends and family and it is a great place. 1 block off of Bourbon Street so it is very easy to get to all the action but not right on Bourbon Street so you can still sleep and have some quiet. The staff was very helpful. I would stay there again.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel

Can't say enough about our stay at the Dauphine. The room was great - the beds are the best ever, staff friendly and helpful. Location was fantastic, just a couple of blocks from the craziness of Bourbon Street, but you would never know it! If you are looking for a high value, boutique type hotel, this is definately the place.

I am always in New Orleans...

And had never been to this hotel before, but it was wonderful! Very convenient lociation, clean, great staff...and WONDERFUL locals bar right there in the hotel! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants the French Quarter feel without all the noise!

the hotel needs a face lift. pool small with little room to sit staff friendly & helpful room very basic but clean

Great room for the money

My husband and I had a great time. Everyone was very helpful. We had full days of sightseeing and they were very accomidating with all our needs. They gave us great local spots to try which made our journeys through the Quarter even more pleasing. Outstanding staff and very comfortable rooms.
