Would be better if they provided free wi-fi.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 21Convenient and Comfortable
We were pleased with our 2 night stay then a return night prior to departure. They offer a free airport shuttle, which was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were spacious, clean, air conditioned, nonsmoking. Staff extremely courteous, helpful. Shower pressure was great! Internet access was convenient and reasonable priced. Workout room was state of art. Nice pool/restaurant area. Only major complaint was the Air conditioning wasn't working properly one night or either we couldn't figure out the controls since there wasn't any directions available. We were impressed with the doorcard being required for the electricity to turn the room on. However, it wasn't ever explained how it worked. The AC seemed to get turned off when we left the room as well. It did tend to be a bit noisy..second floor on a Sat nite (noise from bar/lobby, conference rooms drifted up) and sixth floor- acoustics just bad in the hallway/doors to the rooms.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 21No real shuttle service included
The overall venue of the hotel is that if you do not RESERVE the shuttle service, you won't have any. The additional cost for a taxi is $20 to $25, what a way to start the vacation. The other down side is that breakfeast is not included, therefore the buffet is $15 per person...but you get a mouthful.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 21Noisey
The hotel was quite fine for the price. However,I had a room that overlooked the parking lot and it was very, very noisey. Also, the elevators are very slow. No breakfast or internet included in the room price. With the selection of other hotels in the area,I will consider another on my next visit.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 21Great value and rooms
I read the earlier reviews on this property and it was better than expected and I was very happy that I did not listen. The hotel appears to have been recently remodeled and was in great shape. Room furniture was in great modern condition (beds, furniture, wake up CD alarm, etc) Hotel has two good restaurants (Japanese and continental) Japanese was aveerage at best in comparison to a similarly good US restaurant. If you need to be close to downtown, this may not be the best place to stay as it is just on the fringe of town about 7-10 minute cab ride to central downtown. All staff members were great! Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 21Great Hotel
The staff was very friendly, and the included breakfast was yummy!!! There's a super market across the street, so it's extremely convenient to purchase food and drinks at a nice price...and of course coffee! :) The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were just fine. I can't say enough about the breakfast, though. If you get it included, you really only need to eat one other meal that day. It's simply wonderful, with lots of fruit, eggs, meats, rice, beans, etc. The coffee here is wonderful, too!!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 21"Needs Improvement"
This hotel advertises that construction is complete in 2007, but it is nowhere close, the entire main entrance and lobby is shut down because of construction. Breakfast and pool area are nice, but that is it. Rooms, carpets are shabby.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 21Best banfg for the buck in San Jose
I never wrote a review about this hotel but this was my 30th stay and I have to say this is the best bang for the buck in San Jose. Sure, the Marriot and the Intercontinental are more luxurious but they also cost 2-3 times as much. If you go to San Jose to do business and need/want to be near the city center this is the place to be.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 21Great room for the money
Thought this hotel was very nice. The airport clerks immediately knew the hotel and flagged down the courtesy van for us. Had a GREAT gym, a nice pool, jacuzzi, very clean. The included breakfast was excellent with many choices for food, lots of fresh fruit. We had lunch at the Japanese steakhouse that was in the hotel and it was very good. Just had a few problems with the language barrier. The hotel staff was very courteous. Our over night stay there started our vacation off on a good note.
