Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 15it was okay
I had to grow to like the hotel. it was okay. it would help if they could upgrade to digital instead of analog tv. we also had to pay an extra ten dollars per day to park.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 15Very Poor Customer Service
I travelled with my wife and two kids and our experience at this hotel was horrible. The hotel did not have a room ready for us when we got there and after they gave us key to a room and we went to the room someone was in the bed watching TV. They give us a room that was already occupied. What kind of operation is this!! Who is running this place??? The manager and his staff need to be fired!!! Anyway, they change our room 4 times after that. We checked in at 4:30PM but did not have a room to sleep in until 11:30PM. PLEASE DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS HOTEL!! It was a horrible experience for us and our stay in memphis was not as enjoyale as we anticipated because of what happen to us at the Crowne Plaza.

Needs improvement. Do not stay here. There are wonderful hotels in Memphis in this price range that are far superior. Avoid this hotel.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 9 of 15Overpriced and poorly maintained
Guest services were hospitable and the staff were courteous. The hotel, however, was far under the expectation from the web site's portrayal. As I checked in they had scheduled me under an "accecible"/handicap room. - I said it would be fine and we went on up. The room's carpet was visably dirty and I had to ask for the room to be vacuumed. One of the two elevators in the hotel didn't work, so we used the staff elevator which revealed how dirty the place really is; there were old room service trays in the hall still containing food/beverages/maggots piled on top of each other. Other than ranting farther on how disgusting this was, there was also a small "parking fee" that wasn't explained to me until the day of checkout - which I had them clear me of. The breakfast was okay, but skimpy on the quantity of food that you're paying for. -Overall, my fiance and I were not pleased

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 15Needs Improvement
Took 45 minutes to check in, front desk very unorganized and there were lines of people waiting. Our tub would not hold water, when we called downstairs to get maintenance our phone didn't work. We finally got through to the operator and 3 hours later (nobody ever showed up) when we left to go eat, we stopped to let them know not to worry about it we were going out for the evening, the girl at the desk had no record we ever called. Not very customer friendly.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 15Horrible experience!
Only two elevators service the hotel, however one elevator has been under repairs and not working for three months. Only one person at the check-in desk, took 20 minutes to check-in and then to top it off we were sent to a room that was already occupied. Had to go back to the front desk, wait another 10 minutes and get the right room. General condition of hotel, run-down. Last insult, next morning went downstairs to get two cups of coffee to go--mind you small styrofoam, regular coffee, nothing fancy. Cost per cup $3.00 plus tax for a total of $6.80 for 2 small cups of regular coffee. By the way, parking is also extra at $10 per night. There are much better hotels for the same cost in Memphis.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 15Excellent Choice
I enjoyed how clean the room was. It was quiet and peaceful. The food was also great. We went downstairs to have breakfast and it was great. To have a tv in the lounge felt so comfortable to sit there and have breakfast.
