Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 44Great Location..Great Hotel
The hotel is in perfect proximaty to bars, restaurants, shopping, and only blocks away from Mallory Square. Very nice pool area and pool bar. Beutiful sunset views from the roof. I have stayed at several hotels/B&Bs in Key West and this one is one of the nicest for the price, especially if you are not into "roughing it" and want the nice hotel feel.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 44Loved my room
My room was very comfortable. The bed and linens were great quality and really made for a wonderful night's rest. The room wasn't large, but certainly was adequate size for one person. It was very clean and offered easy access to Duval Street and all the sights of Key West.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 44Nice room with a great location
Room was clean but very small. Location was great you're right in the middle of everything. The elevators could use some updating very small and really slow.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 44outstanding hotel
We only had two days in Key West so this place was perfect!!It wasn't a "beach vacation" for us so I don't know how close to a beach it is. It is a beautiful and historic building. The lobby alone is worth a trip over. It's in the middle of town-very convenient to all shops, bars, restaurants. It is a great mix of retro architecture and modern comfort. We were really impressed with the deal we got. Such a deal!

But the prices could have been more competitive for the time of year (off-season) I visited.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 44Wonderful Weekend
We were extremally satified with our 3 day stay in Key West. The Hotel staff was very freindly and they made our stay very comfortable. We were though very disappointed with the Conceair that put together some of the packages. Some of the questions we asked on what we could do on the all day excursion were incorrect and somewhat affected the enjoyment of our day. It just appeared she was just trying to make a sale and say "Yes" to everything than be honest with what we could do with a small child and the activites they really could do during the day.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 44Not Family Friendly
This is not a kid friendly hotel. I not not recommend this hotel for families. First, the front desk staff not very friendly. Second, the pool is actually a huge hot tub that is filled with cold water and it's not deeper the 3 feet. Third, we had to ask numerous times for pool towels. Fourth, elevators only worked half the time we were there.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 44Perfect location
Right on Duvall Street, walk out of the lobby and shop or bar hop. Staff were very nice and the view from the top lounge is spectacular at sunset. Or take the 3 minute walk to the end of Duvall, where everyone goes to party at sunset.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 44Outstanding Hotel
Everything was great except the room location that I had. It was on the 3rd floor and the window in the room opened to the hallway next to the elevator. It was a little nosiy. The location can not be beat. The service was great.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 44Good Location, Bad rooms
I liked the location on Duval, the pool and the view from the roof at sunset but that was about it. The parking was super tight and expensive and the rooms smelled like smoke. The rooms are old fashion and very simple.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 44Looks better online
For Key West this hotel has a great location but doesnt size up in to other hotels in the price range. This was my second time staying here and there were some same issues, like the rooms smelling like smoke and the bellhop not being around to help. The lobby is beautiful but the rooms are old fashion and dont have any good views. The breakfast buffet at Jacks (attached to hotel) is great, especially the OJ. I stayed here again for the location but i dont think i will do it again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 44I Loved This Hotel, But ...
Although I absolutely loved this hotel and would recommend it in a heartbeat, I was disappointed that it did not have a fridge and microwave in the room. Other than that, the location was within walking distance to just about everything you would want. The room itself was beautiful with a huge plasma TV. The bed was better than I expected. We were very happy here and will always remember it.
