Great location

Hotel is very clean and steps away from all the shops in Queenstown.

Best location in Queenstown

My complaint is that the hallways had an unpleasant smell. Also, we had a room with an adjoining door to another room and although the door was closed we could hear everything going on and they could hear us. But the location is absolutely perfect and I would go back again.

Great location, clean room, but trying too hard.

Crowne Plaza is in a great location. Right across the street from the lake, great views, easy to walk anywhere in town even in winter. Rooms were clean, but not very luxurious. Bedding was nice, low shower pressure. Housekeeping was good and attentive each day, but ran out of the humidifiers. Lots of construction in June across the street and in the hotel. One elevator was down all week. Atmosphere in the lobby left something to be desired. It was very white and sterile. Lots of European jazz band pumped through around white leather couches. I’d much prefer a nice fireplace and casual bar. Coffee in the restaurant was good, but buffet was expensive and short on hot food. Stay here in Queenstown for convenience and a nice hotel. Just don’t expect a great hotel.

Great Hotel in a great town

Loved everything about our stay except the rain. one caution, we didn't find out about the charge for parking our car till we checked out.

Best Hotel in Queenstown!

I used a number of the hotel's services ( event booking, dry cleaning, etc.) and found them to be top notch. The view of the lake is great. The rooms are very spacious and the staff is very friendly/helpful. Plus, downtown begins just 100 meters away!

Still an excellent hotel but is on a decline.

The Crown Plaza in Queenstown is still an excellent bargin for the location and the quality. However the hotel in my opinion is starting to show its age. In our shower the paint is starting to peel. There are new up and coming hotel that are in different phases of construction that in my opinion will surpass the Crown once they are completed.
