    I chose this hotel for its easy access to the Mactan airport. Staying here, you have no excuse to ever miss a flight, but it was still very quiet and without looking at a map you would never realize how near the airport is. Mandaue and Cebu are just across the bridge, though at times you can still experience heavy traffic trying to cross it. A short ride will get you to Gaisano, or you could even walk there. My one-bedroom suite was nice and comfortable with a separate sitting area. Breakfast included a good selection of hot dishes such as congee, pancit, tocino, longanisa, steamed and garlic rice, and they had a chef ready to prepare an omelette however you like it. They also had sliced fresh fruits such as watermelon, mango and pineapple, some cold cereals, milk, iced tea and mango and pineapple juice. For the rest of the day, I strolled up and down the road and discovered some wonderful street food, turo-turo places and even lechon pork. I did not have the best view, as my balcony overlooked a swampy little area, but I enjoyed watching the local children playing down there. Real safe deposit boxes are available at the front desk. Internet access worked much better in my room than in the Business Center, so bring your laptop if you can. The staff were very courteous and helpful.

    the only dissatisfaction was that there was no one at the airport to pick me up.when I got to the hotel I had to wait ajnother twenty minutes before the room was ready.after that service was very satisfactory.They also set us up for a dinner party for twenty five people by the pool,and did an outstanding job. I would recommend this hotel,also staff was very friendly and helpful.

Location. Crown Regency Suites Mactan is on Mactan Island, Philippines, one block from Lapu Lapu Mandaue Bridge, one of two bridges that connect the island to Cebu City. The hotel is also five km from beaches.

Hotel Features. Recreational amenities provided by the hotel include Prana Medispa, which offers Indonesian massage, skin treatments and other services. The hotel also has a health club, a steam room, a freeform landscaped outdoor pool and a children's pool. A small bird sanctuary is located on site. Dining options include a complimentary daily breakfast buffet and a 24-hour lobby lounge restaurant that serves international cuisine. The Fifties Bar has an international menu and selection of wines and liquors. A café offers coffees and deli foods. The hotel also has a business center with high-speed Internet access. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas. A 24-hour convenience store is on the hotel property. Airport transportation is complimentary.

Guestrooms. This 10-story hotel has 148 guestrooms decorated in a modern style with dark wood finishes that contrast with light-colored upholstery, walls and floors. Rooms include balconies or patios, and most have island views. Suites have kitchenettes, while villas have full kitchens with dishwashers. All have living and dining areas. Cable TV, wireless and dial-up Internet access are included. Room sizes range from approximately 450 square feet in a one-bedroom suite to almost 2,700 square feet in a three-bedroom villa.

Expert Tip. Driving on the island or in Cebu City can be a frightening experience and is not recommended. There are several other options for traveling in the area. While taxis are metered, the average rate for traveling from the island to Cebu City is approximately US$7. Colorful jeepneys and open air vehicles also offer inexpensive transportation.
