Best Hotel on our CA Vacation!

A truly pleasant surprise after two not-so-great hotel experiences. The staff was friendly and helpful and the amenities were and unexpected plus. The exercise room and laundry facilities were quite convenient and FREE! Would definitely stay at this location again.

nice place, but wanted it closer

The hotel was very nice but I was hoping it was closer to the fair grounds. It is kind of "out of the way". Overall though, it was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Loved it

The hotel was clean the tv was awsome free internet.....we had a couch a computer desk the shower and bathroom we very clean nice place.....

Not family friendly

We were horrified when our 10 year old was changing the TV channel and an X rated movie appeared without warning. We turned the TV off and then looked through the main menu selections that come up when the TV is turned on. There is an "adults only" option, but we chose the regular channel option and still got the pornographic movie. My husband went down to the front desk and told them what happened. They appeared surprised, but didn't offer any explaination or apology. We complained again at check-out the next morning and received the same response from a different employee. We would never chose this hotel chain again.

Clean, great service and location!

Everyone from the desk to the maid service were friendly and helpful! The room was very clean and had all our needs covered! The beds were comfy too!

Great Value with Unexpected Extras

I thought the hotel was very nice. This is a brand new property and has some extras which the traditional Courtyards do not - outdoor pool and full-service restaurant, which serves breakfast and dinner. My only comment regarding improvements that the hotel might like to consider is that while there is a full length mirror, it is hung on the inside of the bathroom door. Since there are no mirrors in the room itself, if one person is using the bathroom, the second person has no access to a mirror in the meantime.

Very Nice, Great Value

The property is very nice. Room was great, beds very comfortable. Modern furnishings and all granite embelished bathroom - even the entire tub/shower walls. The morning of our checkout, we were awakened at 7:50 am by several hotel employees knocking aggressively on several other guests doors reminding them that they had to be out per their agreement by 8:00 am. From that point until 10:45 when we left, we were under extreme pressure to check out, although the standard check-out policy is 12:00 noon and I am certain I was under no alternate agreement to leave early. Housekeeping tried to come in 3 times and they clearly wanted our room to prepare for professional cyclists they expected later in the day. At 10:30, I saw a hotel manager through the view hole in the door and heard him say, "...but they won't leave" and pointed to my room. Leaving was very uncomfortable, as we felt several eyes upon us and even had a coordinator of the days event run into our room before the door closed behind us saying, "oh great, I need to get in there!" I loved the property, but will not go back. The management clearly overlooked it's average paying elite member of this chain guest due to a large event for the day!

Very Clean

This hotel is fairly new, so the decorating is quite nice. It is very clean, with all the emenities you could ask for. The staff is fabulous, friendly, and very accommodating. It's a great place to stay if you are enjoying the wineries. I will definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to others.

Nice place to stay in Paso

Our room was very comfortable and the hotel staff was welcoming and helpful. Employees always greeted us with a smile. Location is great and close to great restauraunts and wineries. I would definitly stay there again. Nice price, great value.

Nice hotel for the area

This is a no-frills hotel, but in a good location for wine-tasting trips. Did not come with breakfast, but that was okay, since there are great restaurants in area. My only quibble is that the blanket on the bed was tissue thin. I was expecting a fluffy down comfortor as it was around 30 degrees at night. The only other issue was that the heater kept kicking on and waking us. Otherwise the room was tastefully decorated, the bathroom, roomy. I've stayed here before and I'd stay here again.

Breakfast clarity and service needs changing

Their breakfast situation was needs much improvement! It lacked organization, choice, service, and clarity- No menus,price to be seen, it was self service,(no hostess or service person to be seen). No one to seat you, or to ask a question; and the few items they had was almost gone when we arrived about 9:00am, so we thought it was a complimentary breakfast. When we were just about ready to leave someone showed up and we were presented with a bill!
