Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 24great downtown location
Wilmington has a very attractive downtown, and the Courtyard Marriott is conveniently located in it. We walked to restaurants and the Hotel DuPont Green Room. Parking was complimentary in a parking garage next door. The room and the staff were wonderful. We'll definitely stay again the next time we visit Longwood Gardens.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 24Good experience
Went to Wilmington for work event on Oct. 3rd. The hotel staff was very nice and let us check in WAY before 3pm in order for us to get ready. Stayed for 1 night. Bed was comfy, hotel was quiet. I'd definately go back.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 24Very nice hotel
We were in town to see a concert, and the hotel was close and convenient. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and I loved the newer bathroom. The only complaint I had was that on our way in, the staff stopped my brothers and told them that there was "a no partying policy". I didn't like that they assumed that we were there to cause problems just because my brothers were in their early 20s. Other than that, our stay was great!

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 24Excellent service
The hotel room is on the smaller side, although very clean and very functional. Excellent location within easy walking distance of all my meetings downtown. I thought the service at this hotel was excellent. The front desk employees were extremely friendly and helpful, with directions, checking in and out, help with baggage, etc. If you're not in the mood for room service but want to stay in, they've arranged with several local restaurants to deliver to the hotel (some of which do not normally deliver), and then they'll just add the food and tip to your hotel bill...no cash required! Would stay here again.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 24Cool Hotel; Nothing Outstanding
I'm actually used to staying at the Sheraton Suites across the street, but they were fully booked. This was a decent alternative - very quiet; friendly staff. Clean room. Overall, it was a good night's rest with no major frills. Nothing bad, nothing outstanding.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 24Parking and Eating
Parking for the hotel is over a block away from the entrance to the hotel. It is not safe to walk from the parking garage to the hotel at night. The dining service has decreased so you often won't get food and will have to go out or order from a restaurant outside the hotel. The staff was great and so friendly. That was a great feature.

nothing extravagant, but very reasonable for serving it's purpose. Nice clean hotel in the middle of the city... that's all!

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 24Pretty Good
Overall, my stay was good. There were a couple items that stood out, though. First, there was no room service...maybe I'm new to Courtyards, but I expected to be able to at least order a quick burger. Second, the parking ramp doesn't have a connection to the hotel, so you have to haul your luggage down 2 to 3 flights of steps to the street, over to the hotel, then back up to your room. With that said, the people were very nice, the room was clean and quiet, and it wasn't very expensive.
