fit our needs

We stayed here for the All-Star game and all the festivities. The price and the condition of the hotel were great - it was clean, modern, nicely decorated, comfortable. The people who worked at the front desk were all supernice and very accommodating. They always called our cabs for us. The only thing that kind of stunk was that there was no ATM in the hotel - there was one across the street though. And it was a little far from the action of downtown - we couldn't walk to the stadium (we would have but it was sooo hot) and had to take a cab each time we wanted to get downtown. But otherwise, if I were going to St. Louis again I would stay here, no doubt.

Beautiful Lobby Renovation

I com to St. Louis every year around the 4th of July and frequent the hotel. I was suprised to find that the lobby and restaurant area had been renovated. The colors are very warm and relaxing. Although I was looking forward to having my usual belgin waffel from the breakfast buffet the hotel used to have, the bistro style restaurant area was still nice. I was told the next step would be renovating the rooms. I look forward to staying there on my next trip.

Very Nice

This Hotel was a good location for what we wanted to do.rooms were clean and nicely decorated. when we left we left a book we purched at the Arch and a glsses case with 1,200.00 dollars in it . when I got home I called the Hotel,but nothing was turned in. really didnt expect it would be.I only wish there were more honest people.

Great Location for the $

We found this hotel to be a good buy for the location -- close to downtown (walking distance) and events without a high $. Nice clean room with comfortable beds. Only downfall is the lack of a reasonaby priced full restaurant on-site (particularly for breakfast) as there are dinner establishments close by. Air conditioner was noisy but worked well considering the hot temperatures outside.

Not much to complain about

Excellent location, rooms were comfortable, shower was wonderful!! Many times the hotel showers are awful, no water pressure, this one had a great shower head and was actually able to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. The only complaint I have is that they didn't have the wall mounted hair dryers (I happen to really like those and have one at home). But, other than that, excellent stay.

Perfect Hotel for a Weekend in St. Louis

Nice room, convenient location and good service made for a very nice weekend in St. Louis. Close to Union Station and good restaurants. Good exercise room and excellent, friendly and help staff. Only suggestion I would have is that the hotel simplify the process for those guests that book a room with breakfast included. There were no instructions on how to use this privilege. It would have been nice to have been given vouchers for breakfast when I checked in. That way I could have just given the restaurant the voucher when I ordered breakfast. As it waa the restaurant cashier did not seem to know how to handle this complimentary breakfast.

Great location

This place is within easy walking distace to Union Station and if you are adventurous it's only a little over a mile to the river. There is a great Italian Resturant across the street from Union Station. Lumbardo's I think. great food. Speaking of food we had the room and full breakfast deal. The breakfast at the hotel was great and the staff were very friendly.

Great room

Great room looking out on the parking lot, we could keep an eye on our car. Great walking distance to the Scott trade Center. Room was very clean and could not hear any one else in other rooms. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

VERY pleased with my stay here

I really enjoyed my stay here. Easy location to find. Plenty of free parking. The room was very clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I didn't want to get up! Most of all, the staff at the hotel were incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. On my next trip to St. Louis, I will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Staff

My husband and I, along with another couple stayed here overnight and found the hotel to be very clean and updated. The staff was the "plus" to our stay. They are wonderful, very friendly and very helpful with directions to the attractions we were planning to visit, very accomodating. We felt very welcome there and would definetly stay there again.
