We loved our room, breakfast was good, location was good for us. They only have valet parking which kind of sucks but other than that its a good place to stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 54not friendly service
It was my first visit and when I pulled over my car, that was not pretty at all. I was trying to go to another place so I was typing the address on my Nav system. And the gentleman was yelling(yes, yelling) at me to move my car. I was in my car about 2-3 minutes. Even when I left, he was yelling at me behine my back. I will no go back ever. Thanks for your hospitality.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 54A Frustrating Week
I was recently in town for a conference and this was one of few options left within walking distance of the convention center. While the location was very convenient, that's about all I have to say in favor of this hotel. I'm not generally very picky about hotels, but everything about this place rubbed me the wrong way. I was staying in a room with two other guys from my group also attending the conference. Here are a list of my gripes 1. Price. We ended up paying a ridiculous amount for our room. I don't really care because we were getting reimbursed, but I at least expected very high quality for the price we paid. This set the tone for the week. 2. Despite advertising having roll-away beds available, they never had one available when I asked at the desk and refused to put me on a waiting list or otherwise try to accommodate me. This was one of the main reasons I decided on this hotel. As a result, two large men had to share a queen sized bed for 5 nights. 3. No free breakfast! Not only no free breakfast, but the one they offered was very expensive for pretty standard continental fare. 4. Generally unfriendly and unhelpful staff at the reception desk 5. No fan in the bathroom 6. A really old, hulking CRT television in the room. Don't all hotels have flatscreens by now? Especially expensive ones? 7. No pool and pretty unimpressive fitness room (again, this with respect to the price of the hotel) I guess that's mostly it. Avoid this hotel if you can

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 54Location and Service
We chose this Hotel because of value, positive comments and location. On all three it was a win. We were within walking distance to the theatre district, convention center, fine dining and shopping. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and provided the level of service and services expected with this price range and a bit higher.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 54Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!
We were greeted at the door and took advantage of the valet parking. Quick and easy check in. There were 5 of us and they had the extra cot set up for us in no time. We had lots of questions about the events going on downtown as it was New Year's Eve. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Breakfast buffet in the morning was good and checkout was just as easy as check in. Thank you for making our stay in Pittsburgh hassle-free so we could enjoy our time there!

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 54Great stay
The staff here is outstanding. They were very helpful with any request. We weren't happy about having to pay to park, but the other hotels in the area do the same so I just figured we would have to suck it up. When we got there, the valet explained that if we weren't going to use our car at all, that we would be better off at a different parking garage which was nearby, but they charge you each time you go for your car so if we were going to use it we were better off using their parking service. Well, we weren't using our car and they let us unload and directed us to the other garage and saved us about $50. This was our first impression and the staff continued to assist us in any way they could. We had a great stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone who asks.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 54Fine Hotel But Pricey For Amenities
Nice hotel but hasn't the same amenities I usually see at comparably priced hotels. They offer no MSNBC, no in room refrigerator, no in room safe, no taxi service. However, it is quiet, clean and has plenty of hot water!
