Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 41Great value, good location
I've had great experiences at Courtyard's across the country. They tend to be newer hotels. We had a king room. The bed was wonderful and the bathroom was like new. Huge shower, nice tile in the bathroom. The people at the front desk were very friendly, despite the fact that there was a group of screaming children in the lobby. We asked for a cab and they immediately called a local company which got us to the UPAC Broadway Theater on time for our show. Kingston is a neat little town. The fall foliage up there is great - that's not a secret, though. There were tons of people heading to the area for the changing leaves. Only negatives were the old TV which was at an awkward position for the bed (though it directly faced the love seat in the room). There was only one glass in the room for some reason. Overall, highly recommended.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 41No signs to tell you where the hotel was located
Hotel was in the back of shopping center and did not have signs as to where to turn to get to the hotel which it was not observable from the road.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 41Very Friendly
My husband and I enjoyed riding the roads in the Catskills on our motorcycle. It was nice to come back to the hotel during the evening and find a friendly face at the check in counter. Our bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The room was clean and the air conditioning was just right. It rained one evening but what's great about this hotel is that it shares the parking lot of the Hudson Valley Mall. We just parked the motorcycle and walked a few yards to the mall for dinner and a movie. Would definitely stay there again.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 41Best in Kingston
I travel to the area on business twice a year and this is the best hotel I've stayed in. The room is clean, new, and well-appointed. The signs to the hotel (not their fault--town won't let them post) are non-existent and it took me about 20 minutes of driving to find it. It is virtually in the parking lot of Target, which can be convenient or an eyesore, depending on how you look at it. They should post a note in the bathroom on how to use the shower because there is a trick to it, which is easy once you know it but maddening if you don't.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 41Exceeded expectations! Great Value.
We went Valentine's weekend - February 2009. We were pleasantly surprised with the accomodations at the hotel for the amount that we paid. All of the staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The hotel has an indoor lap pool and a hot tub, which are next to each other. The lobby is cozy, well-maintained and large. There was a flat screen TV with club chairs, a mini-mart, a fireplace, computers with a free internet access, and newspapers and magazines for guests. There was also a great patio in the back of the building. The hotel is located within walking distance to a mall and other large super stores. This proved to be very convenient. There were also a lot of fast food restaurants nearby. The restaurants specializing in seafood were less than a 15 minute drive away. We had a great time and felt very relaxed. We will definitely go back to this location.

I WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE STFF AND HOTEL ROOM. I THINK YOU MAY BE ALITTLE UNDERSTAFFED BUT THEY ALL WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP WHENEVER THEY COULD.
