    I've stayed at Country Inn & Suites before and have always been pleased so I didn't think twice before booking a room here. The "Independently Owned and Operated" Sign in the lobby said it all. This hotel did not measure up to the chain's reputation. The first room I was in did not have a working light in the bathroom. They moved me to another room and it took a while to get the A/C to work. There were dead roaches on the floor, which is better than live ones I guess. The bed was not comfortable and was made up with a sheet and heavy comforter only. There was no in-between blanket so my options while sleeping were freezing or sweating bullets. The one positive to the hotel was the staff at the front desk. Everyone was very polite and helpful every time I talked to them.
