Very impressed

This was the best value we have gotten in this price range. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was much better than competitors cont. breakfast. Will stay there again when traveling. The only downside was the PILLOWS!! Next time, I'll bring my own. Certainly not enough to ruin my stay.

Great Price & Room!

I stayed here because I was visiting a ladyfriend at UDel. It was only a 10 minute drive to campus and was surrounded by many stores and restauratns, so its location was great for my purposes. In terms of the room and service, both were top-notch. Friendly, always-available staff (although they had no bottle opener for wine), a decent free breakfast, and a clean room with a great shower. As long as my relationship lasts, I'll keep coming back to this same spot!

Clean, Comfortable and Convenient

The hotel staff was curteous and friendly. The hotel was conviently located off the highway. The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, but the quality of the service need additional improvements.

Phenomenal value...

When I read the reviews for this hotel I thought it was too good to be true- but it's not! My husband and I stayed over on our way to NYC and it was 2 mins from Delaware Park Racetrack, 2 mins from the highway, offered a free breakfast until 10:30am, had a fitness center, and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable! There was even a free parking garage under the hotel! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Was very pleasantly surprised

We needed a place to stay for the weekend and got an exceptional rate on the room, so we didn't expect much, but this Country Inn and Suites really surprised me. The room was clean, very comfortable, and laid out very well. The carpet was a little worn, and the coffee maker only makes one cup at a time, but aside from that I was very pleased with the hotel overall. The continental breakfast is better than most (the waffles are a great touch-- real waffles! ) and the staff was very friendly. The walls are a bit thin, so noise does travel at night, but the really comfy bed makes up for it. Will definitely stay again next time through.

Needs Improvement

The alarm clock was old and the buttons were hard to use, the TV did not have as many stations as advertised, there were cigarette burns in the carpet and the headboard, and the room had an awful mildew odor.
