Hotel was clean -- but pool was inoperable due to a "pump problem." Several times when I went to the front desk, no one was there, not even in the office adjacent to the check-in desk. PM employee was not particularly helpful when I asked her for suggestions on where to eat -- she didn't seem really interested and didn't appear to be knowledgable of the local eateries. Overall, price was too high, considering pool was down and lack of knowledge on local restaurants by staff.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 21Nice hotel, problems our fault
How can you not like a hotel that promotes reading? Sweet fireplace area with bookshelves and books you are allowed to take--you just have to return it, or another book, the next time you stay at Country Inn & Suites. The problems were due to our lack of knowledge of the area. We thought because it was in Bel Air, it would be closer to our relatives. We thought the pool was indoor and were a bit disappointed that it was outdoors and unavailable. But, like I said, it was our fault for not reading the fine print.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 21Friendly Staff
I have visited this hotel a few times and each time I was welcomed by extremely friendly and helpful staff. It is one of the top reasons I stay there when I am in town.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 21Expensive for the type of hotel
This was an average but clean hotel with a moderately friendly staff. Due to lack of competition in the area, however, the price was a bit high for the area.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 21Noise
The hotel was great with the exception of the refrigerator and HVAC unit. Both were extremely loud when turning on. I was awakened every hour or so to the sounds of the compressors kicking in.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 21Great Stay
Brief stay. Front desk staff was great. Room super. Breakfast best I've seen as part of the stay. And, I'm hard to please!
