good place to stay if just traveling through

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The carpet needed replacing.

not bad for rate

Front desk staff was very helpful, free breakfast convenient. Bed was comfy and for the rate we paid it was nice to have a microwave and fridge. However, the stained carpet in our room looked disgusting. We also had two identical paintings on the same wall, which seemed odd and careless. The neighborhood is unattractive and next to a major highway.

great for the price

great rate, clean comfortable room, good breakfast, convenient to downtown. The area behind the hotel is a little shady...but overall good stay.

Not impressed

I have stayed at Country Inn and Suites on previous trips and have been generally satisified with the experience. This particular location was a little smaller, in a questionable part of town, and was a little smelly. The room was comfortable, but I was definitely disappointed with the experience considering the rate that I paid. Not quite what I was expecting :(

Excellent Place to Stay

This was an excellent place to stay. The room was nice and clean. The location was convenient. We would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Good bang for the buck

Loved the free breakfast and Internet. Very convenient when traveling. Did have a problem with the elevator not working a few times, but otherwise good value.

Elevator is not working

Can you image we got the room on 3rd floor and elevator is not working, we ask to chage room even refund, they said they can't and the attitude is so bad I won't recommend this hotel.

a nice surprise

A great value for the $$. Only issue was the VERY slow internet connection.

Great room for the the money, questionable neighborhood

The double queen room was spacious for 3 adults, and so was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Loved the fact that internet connection was free. Many other hotels charge daily for this service. The breakfast is included and had several hot and cold items, as well as protein, not just carbs/bread/fruit. The fitness room was average, and 2 of the 3 machines did not seem to work. The surrouding neighborhood is very questionable, and I did not feel safe outside the hotel. However, I spent most of my time away froom this area anyway. Overall, I would stay again and would recommend to others.

Clean sheets are a must!

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the spacious and elegant layout of the room, but was very disappointed later when I lifted the pillows and the sheets to go to bed and smelled BO. It mainly came from the upper part of the flat sheet. From the kind of smell and the location of where it came from, I'm pretty sure it was the armpit smell of the last person(s) who stayed there. I did not look to see if I there was hair or any other evidence, but it was clear to me that the hotel either did not change the sheets (maybe because it looked clean)or they cleaned the sheets in a way that allowed the odors to stay on. I was able to sleep, but only by facing away from the center of the bed and sheets. Everything else was really nice. There was a frig and miocrowave, nice furniture and all, but the uncleaned sheets really undermined it all.
