The hotel is located close enough to everything that a person would need yet it is far enough away from city noise

Outstanding hotel

Very new, clean. Friendly, accomodating staff. Excellent stay, even with 2 small children. However, the pillows were too soft, need to be a little firmer.

Outstanding Hotel in Aiken

We had the good fortune of staying at Country Inn twice. We used the suite the first stay and a room the second. We would recommend spending the additional money for one of the suites, but both rooms were superb.

Need to work on their service

This is a relatively new and well maintained hotel. Our room was great and very clean. No complaints at all about the room. We were not happy with the service. We needed wireless internet in our room and checked to make sure it was available prior to making the reservation. I also verified this at check in and was told that all rooms had complementary wireless internet service. Well, they had it but the service was so poor we could not use it. We also requested an early wake up call which we never received. We were late for our appointment. I asked at the front desk what happened and she said she must have gotten the room number wrong. We were also a little surprised that they did not start serving the complementary breakfast until 7am which was a little late for our early start. We did stop by for a quick bite and was not very impressed. The "hot breakfast" was not very hot nor very good. I guess over all my complaint is with their service which could and should be easily corrected.

Free breakfast was NO breakfast

Hotel was mostly empty yet we got a room just beside the neon sign on the building with poor curtain coverage, leaving it bright all night...and the morning sun came blazing in as well. We paid for free breakfast and were told at checkin that it was from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., only to find that it was over at 10 a.m. on the first day, and the dining room was closed completely on our 2nd and final day, so we were 0 for 2. No one seemed to be concerned that it was paid for and we were given no explanation for it.

Nice new, clean hotel.

Hotel was very clean and in a good location. Quiet and fairly new. Didn't have time for the breakfast, but it looked good.

Great room for the money

OK Room but noisy

We were assigned a room in the new section. It was across the drive from the "Tiki Bar". Sunday was quiet, but Monday was terrible. The bar doesn't close until 2:00AM. It was loud and disruptive. Perhaps a room in the old hotel as far from the bars as possible would work. Downtown Aiken is delightful.
