    The hotel is close to the downtown area but it is recommended to drive or to take a taxi, since walking would take long. The room is pretty basic, it has cable, and an A/C unit which was pretty noisy. The beds were ok but kind of old so don't expect any comfort. The hotel will do it if you are just going to stay for the night. On the bright side the hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the parking is free.

Location. Costa Baja Condo Hotel is located in Ensenada, Mexico, one-half kilometer from downtown. The area's wine country is 16 kilometers, while La Bufadora marine geyser is less than 26 kilometers away.

Features. Situated on one of the city's main thoroughfares, Costa Baja Condo Hotel overlooks Ensenada's cruise ship terminal. Guests can catch views of the monolithic ships that sail into the city's harbor. The grounds also feature an outdoor pool, poolside bar, and a spa tub. Cinco Sabores, Costa Baja's restaurant, serves steaks, seafood, and traditional Mexican cuisine. Wireless Internet access is available. In-room or poolside massages are available for a fee.

Guestrooms. Costa Baja's air-conditioned accommodations range from studio to one-bedroom units. All feature kitchenettes with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The interior decor is accented with Mexican art and furnishings. Private bathrooms are stocked with complimentary toiletries. Cable TV and wireless Internet access are available.

Expert Tip. A short drive away, La Bufadora is a natural wonder and a popular tourist destination. Ocean waves and trapped air blast water through an underwater cave with such force that water shoots as high as 24 meters (80 feet).
