    I really like the hotel and it's location but especially liked the fact that I got to do my laundry there since the machines seemed to be almost always available. the only thing that I didn't like was the single little refrigerator light bulb over the bathroom sink. I could not see very much but maybe that was best after a day on the beach. I was in one of the many buildings so never really saw what the rest of the hotel was like.

Location. The Cosmopolitan Hotel is located in the coastal Melbourne, Australia, suburb of St. Kilda. The Luna Park amusement park and St. Kilda Centre for Contemporary Art are less than one-half kilometer from the hotel. Popular shops, restaurants and coffee bars populate the intersection of Acland and Fitzroy streets located within one-kilometer of the hotel. Seven kilometers up the street is downtown Melbourne, home to several cathedrals, art galleries, museums, an aquarium, IMAX theater, and the Chinatown district.

Hotel Features. The hotel's on-site restaurant, La Kitchen, serves Australia fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Close to the hotel are many restaurants that dot the neighborhood near Fitzroy and Acland streets and features steakhouses and Asian food.

Guestrooms. This recently refurbished apartment hotel offers comfort and sophisticated furnishings, available in studios, one-and-two-bedroom apartments, and premier guestrooms with balconies.
