GREAT ROOM FOR THE MONEY

Great room for the money. We have stayed here 6 times in the last 8 years. hotel has been updated in the last couple of years.

Biker freindly

Bikes were looked out for at night, and had a place to wash your bike. I'm going to stay for Bike week

Good for the Money

For the money, you could not get better. There was a few flaws. The elevator doors were being painted and that left the entire motel with one elevator and it took forever to get down to ground floor or up to the top, depending on where you needed to go. My original booking was an ocen front room which turned out to be a ocean/parking lot view room. No attempt of correction on the motels part. As I stated, for the money it was a great place and would definitely revisit and reccomend.

Great value

This hotel had a great oceanview and was fully equipped with everything you needed for a long stay. It was located right on the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and great gift shops. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was right.

Needs improvement

The beds were very uncomfortable with sagging mattresses. The room was not very clean. The elevator seemed very old...lots of clanking etc when in use. The floor numbers did not light up. I took the stairs! Don't take a room on the ground floor (ocean front) unless you want to look at the cars in the parking lot!

difficult to change reservations once made

I had a very bad experience when trying to change my reservations so I had to pay for 2 extra nights that I wasn't there. Tried calling the hotel directly and they said they could not do anything about it since I had booked through hotels.com When asking if I could cancel the original reservation and rebook for fewer days I was told that if I did that there would be no rooms available. Strange since I would have released two nights.

My Children and I totally enjoyed our stay at the Coral Beach Resort. If you go not expecting a 5 star then you will not be dissatisfied. The front desk staff is very helpful and nice. The maid service was excellent and so friendly! The pool and pool area was cleaned every morning at 9am sharp. I guess the best way to describe the hotel staff is that they took pride in their work. I am a single parent. I took my two youngest children(15 & 6) and we felt very safe.We had an Ocean-View 2 room suite. If I could change anything about our room it would be that I would had a love seat or a chair something to sit in other than a kitchen chair or the bed, I think the bed needed new mattresses. They were too soft and way past any sort of comfort level. We will be staying there again the next time we go to Ormond Beach!!

Good Bang for Your Buck

We had made reservations to check in on Sunday afternoon and we were running early so i had called to see if we could check in early and they told us anytime after 2. We got there at 3 and our room was not ready yet. We went and ate an came back at 4 and it sill was not ready.Check in time is 3:30pm. They said they would call my cell when it was available and we never got a call. Went back at 5 and it was finally ready. That was the only problem we had. Other than that the room was great. We had maid service first thing every morning and they really took care of the cleaning. As far as the beds they could have been a little more comfortable but overall it was a great hotel. It was a little far from the main Pier and Strip (about 3-5 miles) But that was fine with us as we had our wedding on the beach and it was a lot less populated on the beach than hotels by the pier. There are restaurants and shops right across the street. Over all great hotel and we would defintely stay again.
