It would be great if you offer breakfast with the price and also the internet service

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 15fantastic historic hotel!
I loved this place! I hope I have to fly in or out of Gatwick again so that I have an excuse to stay here. The price was extremely reasonable, considering the historicity of the buildings and the beauty of the room. The hotel is built around a 16th century farmhouse, and preserves the look through much of the interior. We had a 'club king' room with a whirlpool tub, very fancy. Everything was lovely, except the prices & service in the pub.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 15Needs renovation
The Copthorne Hotel London Gatwick is on a beautiful site and appears to have been a very nice hotel at some time in the past. Our room had shabby looking scuffed furniture and poorly repaired grout in the bathroom. The faucet dripped in the tub and the air conditioning did not work in our room causing it to have a musty smell. (Since our flight was delayed we didn't arrive until about 2 AM and were leaving at 9 AM so we didn't have time to ask for repairs or a different room.)The room was a comfortable size, the bath linens were very nice, and the breakfast buffet was good.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 15No Air Conditioning
Our room did not have air conditioning. The weather was cool, so this was not a problem, however, I have allergies and was worried about having the windows open. We were also on the ground floor, another reason to not want windows open.

our last night of the trip and by far the best hotel. very accomodation staff, wonderful amenites (free mini bar/coffee in room, guest reception area w/ 24 hour coffee/juice, evening snacks and morning pastries)...beautifully done. A meal in the White Swan should not be missed! I would stay here again.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 9 of 15Lovely Historic Hotel
The hotel was very pretty historic hotel and in England a historic hotel mean there may not be a lift to the second floor due to reqirements to maintain the building in a historic fashion. The room and service were impeccable. Breakfast was on the pricey side for an English breakfast. There is a shuttle (you pay) bus to Gatwick which is nearby and at Gatwick there is rail or bus transportation to Heathrow Airport and all points in London.

Nice hotel. Convenient to Gatwick Airport. Restaurant prices were unexpectedly high. Fitness center closed early.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 15Needs Improvement
Comfortable hotel lobby etc. however room binder had a two week old menu in it from a former guest leaving doubts as to how often the room was really cleaned. Standard size room for that area of Britain. Gym/pool is detached from hotel - cold walk - and "hot" tub wasn't hot.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 15GREAT HOTEL BUT....
The hotel is lovely and the grounds are beautiful; biggest problem is there is not lift (elevator). Main restaruant was great. Bad thing is the shuttle from Gatwick Airport lists a schedule that is NOT what the hotel follows. Once you get there it is great and very convenient to Gatwick Airport.
