Early check in

As we were arriving early, I requested an early check in. The room was ready when we got there around 9.00 a.m.

Try someplace else

Hotel does not have air conditioning and I would not recommend it in any of the summer months. Also, breakfast is not included in the price as it is at many British hotels, and it is outrageously expensive. Should not be rated 4* with no A/C.

Not for the business traveler

I reserved a superior room so that I could have internet access. When I arrived in my room, I could not find an internet outlet or cable. I called to the front desk to find that even though I had a superior room the only internet access was through the television. The desk clerk told me that access was complimentary. When I tried to connect, I received a very cordial message of "Please Wait" in 4 languages. This stayed on the screen for over 30 minutes and I was never able to connect. In the morning when I checked out they informed me that I was to be charged 12.50 pounds for internet access. They kindly removed it for me when I informed them that I was never able to connect. But this did keep me from doing business while in the hotel.
