    The ambience and appointments are in keeping with the beachfront resort, a terrific combination of period charm and contemporary comfort. Attentive service throughout our stay, and the facilities for dining, fitness, and entertainment hit just the right note. The cocktail lounge is one of the best in this seaside locale.

Located in the heart of Historic Cape May, Congress Hall is across the street from the beach and two miles from the Cape May Point Lighthouse. This landmark hotel recently completed a long and careful renovation, creating a modern facility within a 19th century building. With its colonnaded front overlooking expansive lawns and the ocean, this L-shaped hotel enjoys a prominent location along the strand. Guests have access to an outdoor swimming pool (seasonal), spa services, and fitness equipment. Congress Hall provides a restaurant serving bistro-style American cuisine and a Manhattan-style jazz and blues lounge (seasonal).

Congress Hall offers 104 guest rooms, all of which feature one queen bed or two double beds, complimentary newspapers, and turndown service. Beds are dressed up in 300 thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, and a down comforter. The room décor is light and airy.
