Good hotel

Get the directions before you go. The hotel is functional and clean, but VERY hard to find.

convenient location - good service

Good service from the staff. Very satisfied with the restaurant and food we ordered. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of adequate air conditioning. We opened the window which allowed(?) us a front row seat to hear the symphony of barking dogs throughout the night. Overall a bargain and convenient location.

Very Convenient to Airport (OTP)

Booked a "Superior" room for arrival into Bucharest and again upon departure a week later; 1 night each. Both rooms were comfortable and room size was very adequate. Needed extra towels and the hotel staff responded very quickly. Used the hotel shuttle to go to the airport; 5 minute trip and the driver handled the luggage. Will stay here again.

A very bad hotel.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The decor of the rooms was awful. It has autumn yellow drapes and bedspreads from the 1970's. The carpet in the hotel lobby is deep red and looks as if it has not been replaced in at least 10 years. Getting a room with Internet connection is luck of the draw. We requested a non-smoking room, but the only available non-smoking rooms did not have an Internet connection. So, we had to take a smoking room. And the Internet is not WiFi, it is hard wired cable. So, if there are two people staying in the room you have to take turns using the connection. The staff upon check-in were very nice. The staff upon check-out were very rude. This hotel must only be able to stay in business because they are situation very near the airport. I can only assume that this aspect generates enough interest that they are able to stay in business with one night stays before an early morning departure. I cannot imagine that anyone would ever visit this hotel twice.

Convenient, clean, great staff. Nothing fancy, but a good value.

Restaurant and bar open 24 hrs. Great for coffee, water, snacks at any time. The staff was very helpful in directing me around Bucharest for a day's sightseeing before my flight departure. Wake-up calls and hotel shuttle at 4:30 am were 'no problem'.

Convenient Hotel to Otopeni Airport

Clean comfortable hotel near Otopeni airport. It is a good hotel to stay overnight to catch a flight out of Bucharest. If one visits Romania, vist the Transylvania region, forget Bucharest.

Great hotel for access to the airport

We used this hotel twice as a stopover for the airport, if you want to stay in downtown Bucharest select another hotel. This hotel was great for a stopover; nice breakfast in the morning, resturant was opened late, and wake-up calls came in at correct time. Only thing would mention about travelling to and from airport using hotel shuttle. Leaving from hotel to airport was no problem, but shuttle service from airport to hotel was not as easy. Ask hotel desk very specific questions about pick-up points and shuttle times, and if possible schedule shuttle ahead of time. Although we confirmed with the hotel about their shuttle service prior to arrival and thought we were o.k; upon arrival we still needed to call the hotel directly to send out a shuttle for us. Once contacted, pick-up was very quick, just confusing to arrange.

Did not receive refund

I arrived a day late to this hotel due to air travel delay. I had no way to contact hotel of impending late arrival in my travel from San Antonio, Texas to Bucharest, Romania. The hotel staff did not provide credit. I had to buy an additional night.

Heartfelt Thanks

The shuttle took us to the airport, we got off and got into line for the airline when I noticed my camera bag was not with us! I had forgoyyrn it on the floor behind the driver! I had 2 cameras, a hard drive and a months worth of images in that bag! I scrambled at the airport and found someone to call the hotel for me, the driver had just returned, found the bag and made a special trip out to the airpirt to bring it to me! It saved our vacation! Please extand another huge thank you for that.
