Needs Improvement

When I entered to register the clerk was seated in a darkened room and was slow in responding. Perhaps I interrupted his nap. The dark room and the warmth of the lobby on the 100+F afternoon created the impression that the hotel was trying to avoid using electricity. The room condition was average. There was a hole in the bathroom door from where it had been opened too hard against the door stop.

great room for price

Convient to where we needed to be and very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate to our style of eating

Nice Beds, but that is about it

The beds here were very comfortable, but it was a little dirty and smelt of smoke. It was not a bad stay, just not as great as I expected. I would reccomend if all you need is a bed to sleep in and a basic breakfast when you wake!

Roach Motel-----With a threatening Manager!!!

Upon arriving at the hotel, it was 1.5 hrs before allowed to our room due to the water being shut off from the entire hotel. When we got into our room it was the wrong room and had to wait on housekeeping to finish our room. Another 30 min. Then when we got to our right room, bathroom was very dirty. After going to Wal Mart & buying cleaning supplies & doing it ourselves, we had sat down to eat dinner & rest in the room. I looked over on the loveseat and there was a cockroach two inches long. We caught the pest in a clear plastic bowl so we would have proof of our complaint. The front desk attendant was wonderful and so apologetic. She said she would have the manager give me a call. He called after about 30 min. While he was being very defensive and argumentative, he then threatened to call the police on me if I took the pest downstairs to front desk to show the attendant. I told him this was unsatisfactory & that we expected something for our troubles, breakfast coupons to local restaurants, perks, something.. This was 10:30 p.m. & he then tells me that I could check out with refund & go find other lodging, (but not in such kind words). We understand that there will be an occasional insect problem, but it was the treatment of the manager that just blew us away. But I would definitly not suggest anyone to stay here under any circumstances. If you do, STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Needless to say, we had a 7:00 a.m. doctor's appointment the next morning so our things were wrapped in plastic trash bags so we would not carry any COCKROACH EGGS home with us.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

If you are going here to JUST sleep, the beds are very comfortable. Decide for yourself if the rest is worth the bed's comfort. NO elevator--so unless you are staying on the first floor, don't bring more than YOU can carry up the stairs. There was also a total of ONE staff member available to check you in, carry bags, assist with housekeeping essentials, AND have the meager breakfast offerings available. DON'T show up 10 minutes before they close the breakfast room because they will not be replenishing the coffee pots, boiled eggs, milk for cereal, etc. The bathtub has a rim not really visible until you get into the tub that is moldy and more than a little disgusting.

Great value. Continental breakfast was good, and hotel was quiet.

great medium-priced hotel- clean, safe, decent breakfast- essentially what we expected. would stay there again if in the area.

Clean, comfortable, good deal

We were very satisfied! The only complaint was with the breakfast. The times posted in the rooms were different than the actual times so many of our family arrived at 9:05 and they said breakfast ended at 9:00. All of our rooms said breakfst until 9:30. Other then that it was great.
