Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 287Great room for the Money
This was a great Hotel. Would stay there again. Only bad thing was the park at the end of road must of been the hang out for every homeless person in the area. You would see them walking down street all day. Also they would get into Hotel during free breakfest times and help themself to the a free meal. A little distrurbing.

Great location as far being central to everything. Of course you have to have a car in San Diego, so driving to downtown isn't a big deal. The hotel itself is certainly in need of an update, but for the price it isn't too bad. Be ready for lots of kids running around early in the morning.

all of their king beds were down because of "flooding" I booked a king bed room and they said they were all flooded when I arrived. Didn't upgrade me or compramize just gave me a 2 queen beds room. But otherwise the stay was good, just wished they hooked me up somehow. The elevators are awkward with needing a key to use though

Breakfast must have been cut down due to the economy. There's no more meat (bacon, sausage or ham) served unlike my previous stays with Comfort Inn.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 287Great Room
Our stay at this hotel was great. Originally, we were supposed to just stay one night but we extended one more night because of our experience the first night. We all slept really good. Too good, that we almost missed the breakfast. Their breakfast was really satisfying that we had to be there both days we were at the hotel. Also, the modern design/furnitures made it inviting. The location of the place also is perfect. It's located a few miles from the Fashion Valley Mall and Old Town San Diego. We didn't even have to take the freeway. Overall, I'd say this is the best place I've stayed at in San Diego.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 287Small Suites
I was impressed with the pictures online, but once i got to the suite, it was small and felt cramped. The vanity area was right in front of the bed. I have never heard of a fee to park in the hotel premises, $10 a night. Roads were under construction so I was not too happy with the time spent to get to the hotel. And on top of it all i had a $50 charge on my card that i disputed. Breakfast area was spacious and bright.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 287Convenient to our interests
We had a fine stay but the only thing that urked me was the fact that we had to pay $5/day for parking which I do not believe was indicated when we made the reservations. Our room was fine except that the previous guest's food was left in the refrigerator. When I asked to have it removed, it wasn't. I had to put it out in hall.

Although my stay was only one night - I experienced friendly staff and a clean and comfy room. For the price this is a great value, convenient to major freeways to get to Seaworld, downtown, etc. The hotel was quiet. I ordered food from Hunter's - adjacent to the hotel and although they wrote the wrong room number down when I called to find out where my food was they made me a new plate and gave it to me for free. I wasn't expecting to get the food comped so that was nice.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 287Kids Suite great for the money
The kids loved the kids suite! Plenty of room for our pack-n-play for our one year old. Bunk bed great for 3yr old. The best part was the sliding door in between the rooms so we could watch tv without disturbing sleeping kids.Could have used a kids table and chairs instead of a desk but other than that it was just what we needed.
