Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 162Nice Location
Great location walk to Navy Pier. Parking garage right next door $25 per night. Price a little high.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 162Excellent value!
I never expected such a nice place for the low rate I was able to get. The location was great, the staff was super courteous, and the smoking arrangements are perfect. Smoke rises, so the top floor is smoking. Thanks for giving smokers a choice. I will recommend to everyone I know.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 162Nothing Fancy, but great location for the money.
The draw for this hotel is the price and location, and not the decor/amenities. If you are simply looking for a place to sleep and don't care about the extras, then I recommend this hotel. Great location on Ohio Street with a bunch of restaurants within a block (Uno's, ESPN Zone, Big Bowl, Weber Grill, Rock Bottom) and one block to the Red and Blue lines. Arrived early and staff graciously stored my bags until I was able to check in . Overall found the front desk staff to be outstanding and friendly. Room was comfortable (had a suite with extra room and sleeper sofa) if not inspiring. My window view was of an enclosed alley and the bedding was outdated, but that was not of concern for me. Overall, it completely met my expectation for what I paid.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 162Perfect for Price and Location
We recently stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites for our 10 year anniversary. The location was great! The CTA was around the corner, MI ave. two blocks away, close to the water! The room was small but perfect for the price, and the continental breakfast was a great value and convenient! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again!

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 162Small
This is a very old building, well maintained, but all the dimensions from the elevators to the hallways to the rooms are small. The room was adequate for a short business trip, but one more day tripping over the furniture that occupies almost every square foot of the room would have been too much. Also, the wired internet was not reliable - sometimes it was working somtimes not. The wireless internet only works on the 2nd floor (breakfast area). Both Verizon and AT&T wireless coverage was between absent and barely capable of supporting a call - I work in telecommunications -there is no doubt that it was a lack of coverage.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 162Great location: Small room
Very nice business traveler hotel. Excellent location with convenient parking, easy walking distance to most North of river areas. Friendly staff, well appointed rooms, just very small space wise. Don't bring very many people or plan to entertain in your room and you will enjoy your stay. Good value for the money, don't expect a view and plan on a tiny room though.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 162very small rooms, haphazard service - not a really good value
There was nothing really 'wrong' with the hotel; the staff were nice, but not always informed...and some not willing to find out. The maid didn't clean properly and didn't empty the trash. The room was smaller than my smallest home bedroom, has a slightly musty air (probably due to the age of the building) and there was no wardrobe area in which to hang clothes. The location was good, but I'd have expected the room price to be about 25-30% less for the surroundings. I booked based on my prior experience with this chain's other facilities - just expected a bit more.

Great location. Room was comfortable and pleasant. Free breakfast was very nice and included fresh self-serve waffles.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 162Tiny, but fits the bill
My fiancee and I stayed in Chicago for Labor Day weekend to attend a wedding about four blocks from this hotel. Considering the prices for other hotels in the area, this place was a real bargain; it's on the same block as a subway station, and it's within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile, Lincoln Park, and many bars and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable enough. The only real drawbacks to this place are the size of the rooms (about 8' x 15' not counting the bathroom) and the monotony of the continental breakfast (no scrambled eggs or sausage or potatoes to be found, sadly). All things considered, if you're on a budget and plan on seeing the city more than the inside of your room this place is a great value for the price.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 162Great location with small but well furnished room. Bang for buck.
The hotel is located in a great location near the magnificent mile and other downtown areas. Plenty of restaurants nearby. It is also very easy to get to other parts of town - tons of cabs outside the door and very near to a subway station. Rooms seemed to be recently furnished with modern furnishings and well maintained. Our room (a 1 queen) was a bit on the small side and a bit of a weird shape (long and narrow due to building constraints) but more than adequate for both of us. Room was clean and service was decent (more than up to comfort inn standard). Overall, great value and bang for buck. We'll definitely stay here again in Chicago.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 162Very Pleased from Ohio
This hotel was a great deal. Parking was cheap compared to other locations ($25 versus the common $42), the employees were friendly and helpful, and the location was prime. My fiancee and I were very pleased with the hotel experience overall. True, the rooms are small, but if you're only visiting for the weekend or 4 days, it's perfect. You don't stay in your room often enough during that length of stay anyway. Great hotel!
