Needs improvement/updating

The location was great -- just minutes from Universal and easy access to the interstate to get to Disney World. Also, there were several restaurants (many kid-friendly) nearby. The pool was cold, the room was falling apart (stopper in bathtub got stuck, tv broke, bathroom door didn't completely close) to the point where we needed to change rooms. In the second room, water began to seep under the door when it rained overnight.

Needs improvement

The room was not what I expected. Very small bathroom, when flushing the toilet the top which was plastic would raise up like a Jack in a box. The rooms were not made properly. No towels were left after the first day. I did like that it had free breakfast and coffee. The swimming pool was cool for the children and the adults. Would I ever go back to it, BIG NO.

bad experience

dont go there fist they give me a stink room them they change me to a room with ac/ leak role carpet was wet, them i was sleeping then someone come inside the room saying that was their room took more them two hours to solve the problem,so if you going to orlando pick another hotel

Great hotel.

The hotel was much better then i expected it to be for the price. Me and my girlfriend stayed in a king room. The bed was very comfortable. Our room came with a fridge which saved some money. The hotel staff was very friendly and prompt at getting things done. Our safe had not been reset when we arrived and when i asked the had a person to our room in minutes. The pool was beautiful as it was just remodled. The one bad thing about our stay was the one day I had house keeping come, they tossed through suitcase and left my clothes on the floor. Make sure you lock all of your valuables up in your safe. EVERY room has one.

at 3pm when we returned back to our room, room service had still not been there yet.

Needs improvement

Not a great location. Carpets were smelly and dirt. Problems with the TV, Microwave, ETC.

Disgusting service, cleanliness,maintainence.

Comfort Inn @Universal- Would remember the name forever. The front desk is rude, uncooperative. Had to change 3 rooms in 3 night stays. First I was checked into Handicap smoking room. After my request to 2 doubles- the new room they gave me had no AC working. In short- please dont stay over here even though the location is great.

Dont ever stay over here

Never expected the stay at comfort inn near universal area would be such a night mare. front desk staff is rude to you with no apologies, even if they are at their fault. First I was checked into HC room with leakage/damp spots in the bathroom. Then I was shifted to 2 double beds room, where the AC wasnt working. The maintainence guy came in told me that it was fixed and it went off again in 5 minutes with the maintainence guy taking off his shift. the front desk tells me that they have no one fix it and they have no other room for me to switch. In about 30 minutes, me still waiting there for a solution, the front desk then gives me a room. I had to move all my stuff at 11.30pm in the night. The next morning, the water in the shower tub doesnt drains and had to shower in 8 inches of water in the tub. complained about it when i left for the park hoping that they will fix it. But the water is still in the tub. Over all- Please dont stay here even if they offer you free stay. Would just spoil your vacation

needs improvement

When I booked this hotel, I specifically asked for rooms next to each other because of children. Hotels.com staff called the hotel and they confirmed that they would attempt to do this. On arrival we checked in and the desk clerk put the rooms together however the rooms were not ready. We left to go shopping and on return the rooms had been changed by another desk clerk and in two totally different locations. The clerk did nothing to assist us and finally gave us room keys to two rooms. Upon attempting to use those keys we were given, they were for someone elses rooms. Thank goodness we are honest!!!! The walkways were littered with dog feces, and the rooms themselves could use updating. The staff were no friendly or helpfull in any way. I will never stay here again.

Revolting conditions

This hotel was horrendous. The room smelled musty, only to find the culprit to be wet carpet that squished when you walked on it. There were holes in the ceiling and mold on the shower curtain. Light fixtures were cracked, bedding was stained, air conditioning sounded like a lawn mower. This is probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had. DO NOT STAY HERE.
