Very pleasant hotel

We stayed there on our way to the Outerbanks and it was a very pleasant stay. Nice friendly staff. Very clean room. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the northern part of the Outer Banks. It is located in a quiet area of Buxton within walking distance to beaches, stores and restaurants. The Hatteras Lighthouse is a long walk or short drive away. There are other great beaches within a short drive from the hotel. Hotel has a small outside pool with a shower and foot spray which come in very handy after returning from the beach. Pool towels are available at the front desk. Hotel provides a small continental breakfast each morning. Front desk staff is very courteous and helpful.

Housekeeping

Very convenient walks to the beach,no view of the beach from our room. Carpets could have been vacuumed more thoroughly. There were two dead black crickets on the carpet against the wall, but otherwise nothing really wrong with the accommodation.

Clean, good room, a little pricey.

Clean well kept, good location. Price a little high for this type of hotel. Good eats next door.

Close to a great beach

The hotel room was okay but clean and updated. The pool is small but very close to the room Breakfast was reasonable. The best thing about the hotel is that it is about 1/4 of a block form the beach and close to restaurants and shops.

distance to the coast

The hotel was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the walk to the beach. It is a little far to be considered an ocean front hotel.
